Sushi Note Omakase - Beverly Hills

It needs no introduction to the sushi fanatics in the crowd, who are unanimously bullish on Seki. The restaurant is assuredly and unimpeacably in the company of the best sushi joints in New York City, both if you're looking for omakase or are on more of a pieces-and-rolls program. Seki-san cut his teeth at Sushi of Gari before striking out on his own. Some of Gari's flair is present here, too. Says the NY Times, "sushi is prepared with artistry, dedication and panache."
“Had such a wonderful night! The 8-mini omakase experience was incredible. Amazing food, great service, and overall a memorable evening. Highly recommend!”
“From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely stunning. My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a quick dinner. As soon as we stepped inside, the hostess greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly hello. We even walked up to the host stand, where she treated us with genuine warmth and kindness. She promptly seated us at a cozy table for two. The ambiance was inviting and peaceful, exactly what we were hoping for. The menu itself was a feast for the eyes, with an array of enticing dishes. We were tempted to order more, but we decided to indulge in a few standout items. The lobster salad was absolutely phenomenal, bursting with flavor and freshness. The shrimp tempura was crispy and delicious, while our entrees were equally impressive. We opted for the yuzu miso cod and seki sushi special, which was a delightful combination of unique and distinct flavors. The cod was a perfect blend of sweet, sour, and savory, and the fish was so tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The plating was equally stunning, making it feel like we had stepped into a different country. Our waiter, Harvey, was an absolute gem. He provided us with professional service and answered all our questions with accurate and detailed information. He was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that we had a wonderful dining experience. To conclude our meal, we indulged in the mochi dessert and taiyaki, which were both delicious and satisfying. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant and exploring more of their menu. We are already looking forward to our next visit!”
“Don’t sleep on Sushi Seki’s $60 mini Omakase. Available from 5-6:30pm. It’s called “mini” but 8 pieces of sushi is the perfect amount to get you a little more than full. The chopped unagi is one of my favorite eel sushi I’ve ever had. They also had a salmon sushi layered with a roasted tomato and the flavor combo is just insane. I love how creative some of the sushi is without taking away from the fish at all. Quality is incredible I loved this place so much”
“The mini omakase here is perfect — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Great balance of variety without being overwhelming. Cozy spot with sushi that keeps you wanting to come back.”
“Just an amazing experience of taste and fragrance and utter delight. The savory mix of the dishes with the brine of the ocean and the sweetness of the rice. It was a choreographed dance of flavors and textures. Tony always produces the best and the freshest and the cleanest. A must do! Enjoy it as I did! Another amazing night of this dance r of food for my birthday to be shared with the loving kindness of friends.”
