Thirteen Water

“I made a resy reservation with friends for the omakase and we were seated inside the restaurant shortly after our reserved time. The servers made rounds often to ensure everyone had what they needed. The restaurant was fairly quiet so you can fully immerse yourself in enjoying the omakase. The restaurant has only bar seating with the chefs in the center preparing the sushi in front of the guests. You can really tell the sushi is well-made and the ingredients were fresh. I was previously not a fan of ikura and uni, but this experience changed my mind. I’ve been to a few other omakase’s with similar price points to Thirteen Waters and I’ve got to say, this has been my best experience so far.”

Each piece is unique, and the quality is incredible. You won’t find better value for this price, or any price, in the city. Chef Aaron and his team truly exceed expectations. I love uni, and they always get so creative with my add-ons! It’s one of the reasons this place stands out. They go beyond the standard experience and make every visit feel special. The hype is real!”

“So well priced and I left extremely full. For this price, I could not believe how interesting the food was. Every bite was fresh and light and at the end I was very happy. I highly recommend going here but BE ON TIME. The servers were all very nice and they were extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions.”

“Good budget omakase - 13 pieces went by really quickly. From start to finish it was around 45 minutes. Although with such a short time frame, I felt like I still had ample time to enjoy my food. All the pieces felt unique in their own way, especially the otoro toro caviar piece. I would recommend 13 Water if you are looking for a quick dinner rather than a place to chat.”

“Incredible. *checks notes* No notes. Not a "traditional" omakase offering but the choices of toppings and flavor combinations resulted in a tasty experience. Each piece was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of soy sauce, wasabi, and seasoned rice. The fish was all served at roughly room temperature which meant each bite literally melts in your mouth. The entire set was well thought out and my personal favorites were the torched otoro with chutoro and caviar, the hamachi with torched shishito, and the unagi. Looking forward to coming back here on my next trip to NY!”
