“Yummy chill omakase experience! They run their operation super fluidly and the individual nigiri pieces were super delicious. I really liked the scallop and salmon pieces in particular. We were seated alongside a lot of other people and service was super efficient. In the end it was quite filling and they gave a super cute postcard to go with it. “Second time coming here, and Tsumo Omakase continues to impress. My first visit was for dinner, and this time I came for lunch. This is easily one of the best values for high-quality sushi in NYC. The omakase offers a great variety, and I love that you can order à la carte afterward if you’re still craving more. The ambiance is simple, cozy, and welcoming, which makes the experience feel relaxed while still focused on the food. One tip: definitely arrive on time, since the pacing is carefully coordinated with the sushi chef and other guests. Overall, a fantastic spot for delicious, high-quality omakase at a great price. Highly recommend!”

“The most worth it omakase in New York. Everything about my experience here was stellar. The food was great, the chefs were professional and efficient, the wait staff were very attentive (I drink a lot of water and my cup was never empty, my dad dropped his napkin and there waiter brought a new one right away), the bathrooms were clean, although there were a lot of guests the space itself did not feel overcrowded and noise levels were manageable. I have nothing but positive things to say about Tsumo and I hope they continue to find success, stick around for a long time. Thank you for such a wonderful time!”

“I had a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant. Chef Simon was incredibly attentive and put so much care into every dish he prepared. You can really tell that he is passionate about his craft. What made the experience even better was that he took the time to explain each piece of sushi, including the ingredients and flavors, which made the meal both enjoyable and educational. “Had the best experience at Tsumo! The vibe was super chill but still classy, and everything from start to finish was amazing. Our chef, Simon, was incredible — every dish he made was on point! You can tell he really knows what he’s doing and loves what he does. Each plate looked beautiful and tasted even better. He also took the time to explain what he was serving, which made it feel really personal and fun. The staff were super friendly and made sure we were taken care of the whole time.
