“Uzuki never disappoints. As two people with gluten and wheat allergies, it’s such a treat to find truly exceptional gluten-free soba and udon. The Duck Shio Soba is always a favorite. Comforting, flavorful, and good for the soul. The Black Truffle Curry Udon was rich and delicious, but the surprise star of the night was the Tempura Mochi Vegetable Udon. It was our first time trying it, and we’ll absolutely be ordering it again. The Farmer’s Root Vegetables were also great. We wanted to put that sauce on everything! Fantastic food, attentive service, and one of our favorite dining experiences. Highly recommend! 🍜✨”
“Visiting Uzuki felt like a quick trip to Japan. The Soba was incredibly authentic and delicious, and the Sushi was exceptionally fresh. I especially loved the tableware. Every piece looked like it was handcrafted and was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is peaceful and authentic. I’ll definitely be back!”
“This is now one of my favorite restaurants! Everything about the space is excellent and the food was delicious. As someone who with celiac, I loved that this place is 100% gluten free - I did not get sick (and am very sensitive)! In the back there are soba making classes which looks like so much fun!”
“I was invited there and liked the decors right away. Japanese style drapes at the entrance, very nice arrangements and rooms. This is a soba focused place and I had the duck and Uni (with a touch of truffle) cold soba dish and it was exceptional! Balanced, flavorful, exceptionally clean taste. BTW, buckwheat (soba noodles base) are gluten free. The waitress then told us that the pottery (bowls and tea cup) were all made locally by the chef, making each dish served in a unique manner. I HAD TO see it and ... went on the back. The chef was very kind and explained a bit - of course I expressed that I was delighted. Frankly never went to a place where the food was so good, the decor so unique and the dishes hand made by the chef as well. My overall assessment is that this is a must-go place really (I had such a good vibe).”
“All the soba tofu dishes were pretty good- I think those were the highlights of the meal. There was a soba tofu appetizer as well as a soba tofu (branded as mochi) dessert. Can skip soba sushi (we got yellowtail), got the duck (3 ways) shio and the black truffle curry - I think the duck shio is more classic and black truffle curry was more adventurous? I liked the classic broth better but…. Black truffle curry was def more unique. Their cucumber wasabi was great! Pricy meal though.”
