“It is very good Pakistani restaurant rib authentic cuisine. We tried their shinwari mutton , chicken seekh kabob and samosa chat . Tea was fantastic. Our server was very good and on time. Job service”
“We had a team party there. The rooftop is excellent, with very good drinks and food. The menu is big and there’s plenty of room for a large crowd. The music was good and the seating was decent. It’s walkable to the train station and PATH. The ambience is a big plus.”
“As a long-time food reviewer and frequent traveler, my visit to VERSA in NYC was a well-rounded and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The venue stands out immediately with its spacious, modern design and rooftop access, offering a bright, open atmosphere during the day and a lively, upscale vibe in the evening. The layout makes it suitable for everything from casual meals to group gatherings, which is something many diners wonder about before visiting. The service was smooth, attentive, and organized, even with a steady flow of guests. I was seated promptly, and the staff maintained a consistent level of care throughout the meal without hovering. The menu offered a solid balance of comfort dishes and modern takes on classics. The food arrived hot, well-prepared, and plated with clean, appealing presentation. Portions were generous enough to satisfy without feeling excessive, and the pacing between courses was managed well—an important detail for anyone planning a longer meal or meeting. The drink selection was another strong point, with cocktails that were balanced, fresh, and delivered quickly despite a busy bar. The noise level stayed lively but never overpowered conversation, making the space comfortable for both social nights out and more relaxed dining. Pricing felt appropriate for the quality, ambiance, and Midtown location. Overall, VERSA offers a dependable, enjoyable dining experience with thoughtful service, solid food execution, and a versatile atmosphere that works for brunch, dinner, events, or casual drinks. It’s a polished, centrally located choice that delivers a consistently pleasant visit.”
“The server was excellent. We needed somebody that understood gluten allergies and she was on-point. That said, the food was just not good. Only the starter plates are have gluten free options. Further, in order to make things gluten free, they have to exclude sauces. The wings, for example, came out overcooked because there was no sauce on them. The Korean ribs had no flavor, but they nicely fell off the bone. They couldn't flavor them because they use soy sauce which has gluten in it. It's really an impaired experience if you have a gluten allergy and I can't recommend this.”
“We had a reservation there for 2 weeks leading up to the Knicks Finals Game 5. One day before, I got a text saying the reservation can only be confirmed if I agree to a $200 per person minimum with 20% tip included. I was very excited to spend the game there, because the atmosphere was great every time I've been there before. I would have been fine with a table minimum if it was agreed when I booked it, but it was thrown in last minute. Very unprofessional money grab.”
