“I came across this place after a couple of hours of searching for brunch spots in brooklyn to celebrate my husband birthday and I did not regret my choice! Service was on point, the place was beautiful and spacious, the food and drinks were spectacular!! I was also very pleased to find out that one of my favorite restaurants SKYWISE is their sister restaurant! I will be visiting again for sure!!! We had salmon tartare, the queens breakfast, grilled skirt steak with salad and fries and skirt steak Benedict, everything was well seasoned only issue was my steak was a bit chewy but my husband thinks its because i ordered it medium, the caribbean desire drink was out of this world delicious!! One little issue we had was that all the couses were served at the same time including the bread and butter, which we would have liked to have before our entre”

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and there was a great selection of traditional Russian dishes. The staff was attentive and the event was well organized. The atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, and aesthetic, with such a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. “This spot is in Brighton Beach, I think they opened maybe only 2-3 years ago? So this local jawn has a huge menu. Everyday fresh, healthy food that is made to order. There is attention to detail here, presentation, they make every plate look appealing. Great customer service, polite staff, the 90’s kids music vibes.”

“The kitchen is clearly operating at a high level. The seafood was incredibly fresh—the steak was flaky, seasoned perfectly, and captured the essence of the coast. The wine pairings suggested by the staff were also spot on. The waitstaff was professional and attentive. We were greeted warmly and never felt rushed, even as the evening got busier. The timing between courses was well-managed, allowing us to really enjoy the atmosphere. The Complaint: Cleanliness Unfortunately, the cleaning standards left much to be desired. While the main dining area looked acceptable at first glance, our table had a noticeable sticky residue from a previous guest that hadn't been properly wiped down. More concerning, however, were the restrooms—they were neglected, with overflowing bins and water pooling on the counters. In a restaurant of this caliber and price point, you expect every corner to be pristine. The Verdict I would still recommend this spot for the quality of the cuisine but I sincerely hope management addresses the housekeeping issues. A bit more attention to hygiene would make this one of the top destinations in the area. Pro Tip: If you can, book a table right at the railing for the best views, but maybe bring a pack of wet wipes just in case.:)”
