From the people that brought you Smith & Mills comes Yves. Located in TriBeCa, this stylish and unfussy restaurant offers clean and modern French fare. Yves Restaurant was inspired by Smith & Mills owners adoration of the small and highly personalized owner-operated neighborhood Café culture in Paris (Montmartre). Yves occupies a two hundred year old former Seafarers Inn, across from the main downtown Hudson River entrance. The restaurant is washed in a minimalist design aesthetic in the heart of picturesque Tribeca. Although refined, the dishes are comforting, approachable and familiar. Our culinary team’s approach is simple sophistication balanced with a side of whimsy and fun. The 46 seat (interior seating) is made much larger feeling by the 80 plus outdoor seats (weather permitting) on the corner of N Moore st with the Hudson River in the backdrop.
“The ever staple Sausage & Pretzel is a go to. Great cocktails and delicious oysters in a cozy intimate setting. It’s quaint but effervescent much like New York.”
“Wow, wow, wow. Easily one of my new favorite restaurants in Tribeca. We started with the bread, and the butter compote it came with was unreal. So rich and flavorful. We shared the French onion soup, which was absolutely to die for. The steak frites came with these incredibly flavorful, thin and crispy potatoes, and the chicken schnitzel was perfectly thin and crispy with an egg on top. A must order. Every single dish was an 11/10. On top of that, our waitress Kendall was incredibly kind and made the whole experience even more special. We will 1000% be back. An excellent experience all around and can’t recommend this place enough.”
“This restaurant is one of the best In Tribecca. On Greenwich Street and North Moore. The pasta Is beyond delicious. I personally love the Homemadepasta with pecorino cheese and thyme on the vegetarian side. And the burgers are incredible. The staff couldn’t be better, especially Rocco The waiter and Chandler the manager. Please come to this restaurant as fast as you can it’s so good!”
“I absolutely love Yves! I’ve been here several times, and each visit is as wonderful as the last. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The menu has the perfect balance of creativity and comfort, and the cocktails are just as impressive. The staff is consistently welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience feel relaxed yet special. The space itself is bright, stylish, and inviting—perfect for brunch, dinner, or just drinks with friends. Yves has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. A true gem in Tribeca!”
“This place used to be such a quiet little cozy spot, it really has such nice lighting and good decor. But lately when I’ve been, the music has been excruciating and way too loud and bombastic. And I think as a result, it’s now bombarded by bozos and buffoons. It’s so hard to find quiet, calm places with warm lighting and good atmosphere, I’m so sad this place changed Such a noticeable atmospheric downgrade. They should be playing ronantic music but instead theyve opted to start drowning out diners w that Weezer song “Becerly Hills” or Lit’s “ my own worst enemy”. You really couldn’t ask for worse music on a first date..”
