“My last experience here wasn’t great so I hadn’t returned to eat at Ani Ramen in three years. I’ll definitely be coming back after today! Vante, our server, was fantastic, warm, and patient. I almost knocked over the table onto him and he took it in good humor! My boyfriend and I arrived near closing and he didn’t mind at all. I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was amazing, the broth was rich and flavorful and the pork belly was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pork belly bao buns were good as well. The noodles were cooked perfectly and tasted fresh! I highly recommend coming here for ramen and ask for Vante!!!! 5/24/26 It’s been six months since I’ve been here because I moved to but I was fortunate to be able to visit and have Vante again! He remembered me from last time and made me feel so welcomed and special which was a nice treat as a return to my hometown. He was so kind and attentive and packaged my to go order with such care. Everything was impeccably and thoughtfully placed so nothing would spill and the bag would be balance and thus easier for me to carry. Even left a sweet and funny note written on my to go bag! The food was as delicious as I remembered it even to go and as someone who has to go all the way to Chinatown to get decent ramen, this was a much needed treat. Thank you, Vante!!!! I’ll be back! Another 5 stars!”
“I had an amazing experience at Ani Ramen House. The flavors were absolutely perfect, and the portion sizes were just right for one person. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of authentic taste. The service was incredible from start to finish. Emely G took care of us, and she was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and great at describing the food. Her recommendations were spot on and made the experience even better. We arrived a bit late, but the staff was very kind and still helped us with our reservation without any issues. I’m honestly very impressed and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!”
“Tried this branch during a Yelp event and we started with Edamame and Japanese cucumbers which were very good starters - tasty with one crunchy and one soft. Next we got the Chicken Karaage and Shishito peppers which were nicely flavored and had this nice sweet and savory thick sauce to dip in. And then the shrimp bao which was the most enjoyable for me that night. Crunchy batter and soft buns with good sauces. The Shoyu ramen was good too but I actually was expecting something a little creamy. Good nonetheless but may not be the very best. I know I had their miso and chef special before in Montclair and I enjoyed those. Nevertheless, a good spot for Ramen. Wish they had takoyaki though.”
“Our waiter either did not care about his job or was working his first day without a trainer. He could not follow basic modding instructions, neither of us at the table asked for anything that isn't offered as an option on the menu. After delivering the ramen, we saw our waiter once more to refill water and had to sit around waiting for the check in an otherwise empty restaurant. I've worked restaurant jobs before, it's wild to me that your employees are that unconfident with the very small menu. I'll go back to other locations but I'm skipping Summit Ani. Not knowing that pickled vegetables are pickles as a waiter is insane. Your staff aren't trained on the menu, and honestly they don't seem very inclined to do their jobs either.”
“The ramen was underwhelming. We both got No. 10 Spicy tonkatsu. Was expecting some thing creamier. The egg was hard boiled and not very well marinated, it lacked flavor. The corn was standard. Those things are an additional $2 each to add to the ramen, so they should be flavorful and on point. The service was attentive and quick. No complaints there. Atmosphere is trendy. If you’re into loud (but good) music in a trendy setting to eat ramen then you’ll enjoy it. If your looking for more of a cozy yummy experience look somewhere else. This place kinda kicks the ramen craving, but leaves you unfulfilled.”
