Jacob's Pickles - South Norwalk is a Southern restaurant in the Norwalk neighborhood of Norwalk.
“My husband and I finally went to Jacob’s Pickle and it did not disappoint. Our waitress Brianna was so informative as it was our first time. We had fried pickles and deviled eggs for appetizers. Very delicious. We also had the bacon smash burger, waffle fries, and chicken smothered in mushrooms. I must say, we will take the 40 min drive and go back,”
“Julian was the best waiter! I sat at the bar and was overlooked and he passed by and assisted immediately! He took great care of me and checked on me often! Thanks for your efficient and effective service! My smash burger was divine !!”
“This is my second time dining here and it certainly won't be my last! Both times we found the server to be informative and attentive. The food arrived in a timely fashion, was hot and absolutely delicious! We find the menu to be unique as there's nothing like this place near where we live. We're about 45 minutes from this restaurant and yes, we drove specifically to go here. This time, though, we decided to get a dessert to share. If I remember correctly, it was called an Oreo Icebox Pie. Definitely a pie and nothing like an Icebox cake but sinfully delicious all the same. We will definitely return!”
“We were looking for a place to have an early dinner and were we surprised. By far one of the best restaurants we have been to. To start they have a flight of PICKLES and veggies. Oh my.... Never had that before on it was amazing. My wife had challah french toast topped with fried chicken, to die for.. and I had short ribs, fantastic.. the mashed potatoes were perfect. To end our wonderful dining experience we shared an oreo cookie icebox cake. WOW. Can't wait to return for more.”
“This spot has been on our bucket list for a little bit and unfortunately it was a little underwhelming. The food was good but not great and came out a little too fast. I know that may seem like a weird complaint but the appetizers arrived just minutes after we ordered & before we even received our drinks. That leads me to believe things are premade and not made to order. I had the dirty Aphrodite for a drink which was yummy and had a nice, fresh pickle in it. The chicken and French toast were good but the smash burger was just okay & really just a double cheeseburger more than a smash burger. All in all it was an okay experience but not worth the hour drive for us. Also just to note, it is attached to SoNo Mall and you have to pay to park in the garage there.”
