Glitretind is a Gourmet restaurant in the Park City neighborhood of Park City.
“Spectacular Deer Valley mountain scenery, live music, and delicious Glitretind food all paired with craft beers - what’s not to love! Attended Summer Tuesday’s Hops on the Hill. It’s set outside on their deck. Different food tasting stations are set around their deck, and the tastings are paired with different beers. Runs from 6 PM to 8 PM on Tuesdays during the summer. Cost is about $90 pp which includes five 1/2 cup beer tastings. You can pay less if you don’t want the beer. Call for reservations.”
“Despite all the other reviews, my wife and I had nothing to complain about. The food was really good (she specially loved the mushroom sandwich), we had a very nice view in the terrace, and the staff took really good care of us. They have a lot of options regarding beer, wine and cocktails (also mocktails and beer without alcohol).”
“We tried coming from the resort across the street to check this one out too, and we enjoyed the scenery along the way! There is a more casual section where you can eat while listening to live music, which we decided on because we weren’t hungry. The server super nice and attentive. The special meatballs weren’t the best, but the salmon really melted in my mouth!”
“I expected so much from this reataurant. First, it was on Resy, then it serves Norwegian inspired food. As far as the entrees, nothing stood out as particularily Norwegian. Food was just okay. Husband and I both ordered the bison. His Medium and mine Medium Rare. It was chewy and had a lot of tendinous strands. I don't think thry cooked it well. What stood out to me was their toffee pudding. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. It brought this rating of a 1 for food to a 3 star. Service from our Scottish waitress was excellent and the view was absolutely beautiful. Snowcapped mountains and lush trees.”
“After several wonderful experiences at Glitretind for their summer Sunday brunch, we were eager to celebrate Christmas Eve here. Unfortunately, the evening did not live up to the high standards we’ve come to expect from this establishment, especially given the $250 per person fixed price. While the food was good, it wasn't exceptional enough to carry the experience on its own. The primary issue was the service, which felt frantic and unpolished for a luxury holiday dinner: Lack of Attention: Our server, Mohammad, was kind initially, but once our order was placed, he virtually disappeared. We had to flag him down just to get water refills for the entire table. Intrusive Service: His assistant, Katie, appeared overwhelmed. At one point, she reached directly over me while I was mid-toast to my family to clear extra wine glasses—a jarring interruption for a celebratory meal. Missed Opportunities: No one ever checked in to see if we wanted additional wine or cocktails throughout the night. The most disappointing detail, however, was seeing a $2 charge for every blue cheese olive in my dirty martini. Having dined at top-tier hotels and restaurants globally, I have never encountered an upcharge for a standard martini garnish. When I brought these concerns to the manager—who only arrived after the bill was signed—he offered to remove the olive charge, stating he "didn't want it to ruin our Christmas Eve." This completely missed the point; it wasn't about a few dollars, but the lack of hospitality and attention to detail expected at this price point. We still love the Glitretind Sunday Brunch, but we will not be returning for another holiday dinner. #SteinEriksenLodge #DeerValleyDining”
