Entre Nous is a French restaurant in the Pasadena neighborhood of Pasadena.
“Really enjoyed this place. Very nice food, great service and romantic. Be prepared to pay up though! We got there just before they were closing up and we were a bit rushed to order. They were super nice though and waited beyond closing time for us to finish up but they were just cleaning anyways. I would go back for sure.”
“Entre Nous French Bistro has been a longtime favorite, I’ve been coming here since they opened. The escargot is incredibly tender, drenched in garlicky herb butter you want to soak up with bread. The oysters are ultra‑fresh and perfectly chilled, the ideal briny start to the meal. The steak is cooked spot‑on with a rich peppercorn sauce and crispy fries, making every bite feel like a true Parisian bistro experience. Matthew our waiter was amazing thank you for your amazing service.”
“Absolutely top tier French cuisine. The escargot were fantastic and so flavorful. The interior is wonderfully designed and has a great ambiance. The service is fantastic and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The perfect spot for a date night, it is dimly lit and very intimate. Incredible experience.”
“Good ambiance but the food was pretty mid. Salad had dressing poured on in stripes instead of being tossed for even coating. $60 for the ribeye and it was a thin cut, which led to it starting at an acceptable temp but being medium well half way through. You’ll def have a decent meal, the food was not bad, but it’s just below the bar of what I’d expect at this price point.”
“Not sure where all these 5-star reviews are coming from. For the price point, the food was honestly very underwhelming. The $11 baguette tasted like something you could grab at Trader Joe’s for a fraction of the price. The steak tartare came with a tiny handful of fries, which felt pretty stingy, and the French onion soup was just mediocre. What bothered me the most was the pasta. We ordered the cacio e pepe a dish that should be rich, cheesy, peppery, and simple in the best way possible. Instead, it was bland with barely any pecorino romano flavor. Honestly, where was the cheese? Did they substitute it with something else or just skimp on the quantity altogether? To make it worse, the pasta was overcooked and rubbery. It genuinely reminded me of cafeteria pasta from the ‘90s, except somehow my high school pasta was more memorable. If a restaurant can’t properly execute something as classic and straightforward as al dente pasta with quality ingredients, that’s a pretty big red flag. If you’re well-traveled or have had genuinely good French food before, this place will likely feel overpriced, under-portioned, and disappointing overall. Didn’t even bother trying dessert.”
