Set in an industrial structure in the heart of Philadelphia’s Fishtown, Frankford Hall nails the perfect balance between edge and charm. Complete with massive garage doors and trees strung with twinkling lights, the space spreads out the action between spacious open-air picnic tables, fire pits and indoor bar area. Frankford Hall embodies true Teutonic spirit-raising with a modern twist, where German and American beers flow by the half and full liter, joining two-fisted eats like sausages, burgers and warm Bavarian pretzels.
“Tons of space, very friendly, and most importantly: delicious! Came here for a date night and had never been before. The hall itself is a spacious and open, with a wide variety of games to play and seating options. You order your food from the window in the back right, and the staff that welcomed us were really friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit elevated, but it’s Fishtown in Philly. You also get what you pay for! Our food was delicious—I got the burger and my partner got the schnitzel. Both were served hot and very quickly, and tasted extremely fresh. The fries were very good as well, and the Bavarian pretzel we shared was so tasty with a nice cheese sauce on the side. Overall, I had a wonderful time here! Will definitely be visiting again!”
“Super vibes. The beer is flowing. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. A shout out to the staff from the food service to security to the very busy bartenders. Parking will be a pain but the experience is definitely worth it.”
“Frankford Hall is an awesome spot to grab a beer and hang out. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a fun ping-pong setup, and overall a great vibe. They also offer food, which is a nice bonus. My only downsides are that the beers are a bit pricey and I wish there were TVs outdoors so you could hang out longer during games. Still, I’d definitely recommend it and would happily come back.”
“Highly recommended for groups and during the week for a low key night. Happy hour food and drink specials, along with a full drink and food menu. The wurst platter was great, the large pretzel was soft and very hot, though we didn’t care for the cheese sauce. We enjoyed our time there, would imagine it gets packed on the weekend!!”
“Not great prices, awful food. I ordered the large warm bavarian pretzel. Pretzel was not moist enough to be $12. Whatever. No biggie. The pretzel was still pretty decent The reason im writing the review is because they charge $3 for “cheese dip” with the pretzel (which should already come with a pretzel by default). Instead of getting a quality cheese dip thats worth $3 and tastes good, they gave me CREAM CHEESE WITH PAPRIKA. DISGUSTING. $3 EXTRA FOR THAT GARBAGE??????? Shameful”
