“Heather is amazing, the food and service is always so good but the star of the show really is the Elysian Park cocktail!!! Must try for tequila lovers. My boyfriend and I love it here and make it a weekly thing to come and sit at the bar. There’s outdoor seating aswell which is great for the spring, summer, and fall! I love it here!!!”

“Came here for dollar taco night, which is announced on their instagram, starts at 5pm, and is on random days. We tried their carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, camarones, and pez tacos. The Al pastor was very dry and lacked much flavor. Carne asada and carnitas were not as dry but also lacked some flavor. Their salsas could also use some work too, they virtually had no spice. All the seafood tacos are battered and deep fried. Camarones was surprisingly my favorite! Portions are fairly small and they use store bought tortillas on dollar taco nights, but for $1 per taco, I’d say this is a steal. Also tried their happy hour classic margarita for $6, which I was very happy with. There is a 3% service charge that goes towards tipping kitchen staff.”

“Paid a visit to the West Philly Loco Pez after visiting the fishtown location a week prior. There is definitely a discrepancy between qualities and service from both locations. Not only are portion sizes significantly smaller at this location, but service was extremely lacking as I waited over 10 mins to find my server to request utensils and plates, since we wernt offered any. After receiving our order of tacos, we noticed the bottom of each taco was soggy and coated in oil/fat. Because of this, all of the taco shells had split. Despite the negative experience, the pins colada margarita special was yummy! My experience in food quality here was extremely disappointing and I will not be returning to this location.”

“I am currently eating at this restaurant, they require the entire party until being sat, which is understandable for a busy restaurant but half of my party came ahead and asked to put their name in. The hostess with curly short hair refused because of no wait and our entire party came in 15 minutes later to an hour and a half wait! They have ONE bathroom, which is not smart for an entire restaurant with two floors. Not happy!!! Hopefully my margarita and meal are better than the initial greeting.”

“Service is ok and atmosphere is nice, but the food was extremely disappointing. I got the mushroom enchiladas and my friend ordered three tacos. On top of being very overpriced (over $20), the enchiladas were half-burned and quite bland. My friend's tacos were lacking in flavor and seasoning. This was arguably the worst Mexican food I've had in Philly.”
