“Stayed for a couple nights in May. The people working at this establishment are AWESOME. Every single person I interacted with was so friendly, helpful, engaging and gave wonderful service. The building is old, elevator slow and some areas are under construction. But the rooms are clean, beds soft, and people go above and beyond, for me that's worth more than a fast elevator. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but the lobby coffee shop and bar are both on point!”
“Experience during a weekend stay was nothing short but pleasant. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinner via room service and in person. The valet team was also great. Front desk and guest services were awesome. The hotel is in a prime location and close to pretty much everything.”
“I recently stayed at Loews Philadelphia Hotel and had a very positive experience overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff inside the hotel were welcoming and professional. The rooms were spacious, the location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere made the stay enjoyable. One area that could use improvement is the valet service. While the valet staff were not rude, the process felt slower than expected and the customer interaction could be friendlier and more attentive. A more efficient and welcoming valet experience would better match the high standard set by the rest of the hotel. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel and would consider staying again in the future.”
“My stay at Loews Philadelphia was fantastic! The staff was very helpful, Sarah who checked me in was an all star she was so kind and accommodating, truly one of the nicest check-ins I’ve ever experienced. The hotel room was clean and had everything I needed. You do have to ask for daily room cleaning which is great if you want it you can ask, if you don’t you help save on waste. The value and location for a four star hotel in Philly was unmatched for my booking. The amenities were adequate nothing over the top but the gym was pretty good. Parking it is 60 dollars a day but considering you’re in the center of the city that’s just how it is. I stayed using the Amex Hotel Collection and it was great they clearly outlined all my benefits and I got to use all of them including a room upgrade to a higher floor which was very nice. The only thing I thought could use improvement was the Restaurant. Bank and Bourbon I think has too limited of a menu for dinner. While I understand the idea of being an upscale restaurant with limited items, if I wasn’t staying at the hotel and using my credit I would not have dinned there. As for the lounge and the bar in the hotel, that was great. Overall I throughly enjoyed my weekend at the Loews Philadelphia.”
“We stayed here for two nights over Christmas and overall had a very pleasant experience. We were upgraded to a corner room with windows on two sides, which is surprisingly rare in city hotels. Even the bathroom had a window, which we loved. The view wasn’t perfect, but already very nice. The location is fantastic — easy to walk almost everywhere in Center City. Service was friendly, and breakfast at Bank & Bourbon downstairs was delicious (we ate Eggs Benedict two days in a row — the crispy potato skins were great!). However, a couple of issues kept me from giving a full 5 stars: 🚽 Room Maintenance Could Be Better The toilet tank wouldn’t refill unless we manually nudged the float ball every now an then. Because of that, we had to put the tank lid on the floor often so we could keep fixing it. Also, our bed sheet had a tear — not a big deal, but unexpected for a 4-star hotel. We didn’t request a room change since we had already unpacked and the issues weren’t major enough to bother the front desk during the holiday. 📍 Bottom Line We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would return — a few small improvements in room maintenance would easily make this a 5-star experience. Great comfort, great location, and overall a great choice in Philadelphia.”
