“I'm not a seasoned upscale restaurant reviewer. I'm not a bourbon connoisseur. I'm a regular guy that visited the city and partook in a work event to decompress with other coworkers. It was phenomenal. We had a private room and all staff were extremely attentive. The bourbon selection was outstanding. Plenty of other options from the wine, beer, and cocktail menu. The food was out of this world. From the sweet creamy Jersey Corn soup, to the incredible blue cheese wedge salad, then the melt in your mouth filet mignon, finished with a butterscotch cheesecake, a core memory of Philly dining was made tonight.”
“we had went during restaurant week and food was amazing! only downside was our service and our card got charged for more than what we spent, but was immediately addressed by the management team.”
“Hotel restaurant inside Loews hotel in downtown Philadelphia. This place is packed even for a party of one! I ordered a seared trout and was happy with the sauce, but the trout itself could have been salted. Bourbon flight presented well, very prettily in three glasses. A nice-looking bar.”
“Bank & Bourbon is an ideal destination for connecting with friends or enjoying a meal that prioritizes creative, chef-driven concepts over standard traditional fare. Located in the historic PSFS Building, the atmosphere balances a rustic, barrel-aged aesthetic with an energetic urban vibe. The menu is fantastic, but it is not the best fit if you are looking for a highly traditional meat-and-potatoes meal. Instead, expect inventive flavor profiles and high-quality artisanal ingredients. Unique offerings like the Ora King Salmon with massaman curry and the BBQ Spiced Whole Sweet Potato with lentil stew are perfect examples of the restaurant's commitment to non-traditional, globally-inspired dishes. Even the starters, such as the Roasted Bone Marrow with short rib or the Warm Cauliflower Salad with sunflower seed brittle, offer textures and flavors you won't find at a typical neighborhood spot. For the traditionalist, there is a dedicated beef section featuring a Dry-Aged Cowboy Steak and Filet Mignon, though even these are elevated with sophisticated sides like truffle potato pave. This is a top-tier Center City choice for those who appreciate thoughtful, non-standard dishes in a great social environment.”
“Went here for breakfast two mornings in a row since we were staying at the hotel. We ordered their Eggs Benedict both days — the poached eggs were perfectly runny, the Hollandaise sauce was rich but not too heavy, and the potatoes on the side were amazing! Super crisp potato skin with fluffy potato inside — loved it. The next day we wanted to try the Local Eggs Benedict, but surprisingly they were out of pork roll… on a Saturday morning! That part was a bit odd, so we just stuck with the classic again. Still delicious though! Special shout-out to our server — it was the same lady both mornings, and she was incredibly kind and attentive. Right before we finished, she even asked if we wanted two coffees to-go. Such a thoughtful gesture, really made our mornings feel extra nice! We also visited the bar the second night for a couple of drinks. ✨ Mojito — refreshing, minty, super easy to enjoy 🥃 Bourbon Sour — great balance of citrus and whiskey, very smooth Friendly bartender and a cozy vibe to wind down the night. Overall, great breakfast, lovely service, and a nice hotel bar experience — just wish they had the pork roll available on weekends! 🛒 Bonus: Don’t miss the little Market next door! Right beside the restaurant, there’s a small market selling bagels, snacks, and baked goods. We grabbed a couple of things — and their Cranberry Muffin might be one of the best I’ve ever had. Super moist, tart berries, not overly sweet… such a pleasant surprise! 🥰🫐”
