“As a gluten-free foodie connoisseur in the Dallas area, I don’t say this lightly, this Mexican restaurant truly impressed me. This FAMILY-owned Dallas gem has been around for 7 years, and you can feel the pride and intention behind everything they serve. They use no seed oils, which is incredibly rare in the restaurant world. While it’s not a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, so much is made in-house and they have a dedicated fryer for their tortilla chips, which is huge for anyone eating gluten-free in DFW. Gluten-free items aren’t marked on the menu, but many dishes are naturally gluten-free or can easily be adapted. The staff was knowledgeable and transparent when walking through safe options. The house-made corn tortillas and tortilla chips are exceptional. You can taste the difference immediately. We ordered the chilaquiles and were blown away. They also offer daily specials and an excellent Bodega Brunch that’s worth planning around. If you’re looking for quality ingredients, gluten-free friendly options, and a seed oil free Mexican restaurant in Dallas, this spot deserves your attention. A true hidden gem in the DFW gluten-free community.”

“Mexican Bar Company was absolutely amazing. We went to celebrate my birthday and what made the night Amazing was our waitress, Veronica. I really want to make sure she is recognized!! Veronica was the best waitress I’ve ever had. Her personality, her spirit as soon as we were seated just lit up my night. We had a big group of 15 people, and she handled us well and all on her own. Attention to detail, her organization, she kept us moving because we like to talk but she was sweet in everything she did. She took care of my beautiful cake by bringing it out, lit up with candles. Then when it was time to go she boxed everything up gently including the candles and my cake topper. She was absolutely incredible. I loved the atmosphere and drinks also of Mexican bar Company. “Fantastic experience at Mexican Bar Company! The food was absolutely delicious , fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The tacos were amazing and perfectly seasoned, and everything we ordered tasted great. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A great place to enjoy really good Mexican food. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back!”

“Tried the MBC Experience ($40 per person), a 4-course chef’s choice menu for two. They started with chips and salsa where it was watery and no taste in salsa. The first course was the highlight - queso and shrimp/octopus ceviche with chips were both delicious. The cauliflower taco was raw atleast they could have boiled or blanched the cauliflower with Brussels sprouts and the chicken taco with garlic mole sauce was decent. The biggest downside was the pacing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but the kitchen was extremely slow. The final course, a simple chicken, rice, and plantain dish, took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. The entire 4-course meal stretched to about 1.5 hours, so you’ll need patience. The main course portion was a bit small for a shared entrée, although we were full enough to take some home. Overall, the food was decent, but I didn’t feel the experience justified the $80 total price tag. Good concept, but not something I’d rush back for. It was not worth the quality and quantity have had better mexican food before.”
