“Walked in for a happy hour glass of wine and was instantly surprised to this restaurant’s ambiance and service from Brian & Alli. The sav blanc was crisp and refreshing. I had the happy hour hamachi appetizer which was super fresh and citrusy with just enough spicy. Next I had the blue fun tuna dish (pictured). Wow! Outstanding. The fish was velvety and their sauces were rich but light to complement. This was my favorite. I also had their special of the day roll Mango Madness. Very delicious and fresh with a hint of sweet. I can’t wait to come back!”

“This place has become my go to for Crab! The service here is amazing! Brian the manager made my experience even more special with a candle in my bread pudding!😁 Candace was attentive, sweet and made sure to transfer my health needs to the kitchen regarding my dietary needs, she was on it in every way! The team there is terrific! I went there on Nov 3 to celebrate my birthday 🎁 with my daughter and some great news I got about my cancer treatments and more. They were accommodating and made sure that everything was Hot/Fresh and perfectly cooked for me due to my immune system. I ended up ordering a 2nd order of crab (4 lbs total)! All the food was tasty! Mahalo to you all for your service, positive attitudes and friendliness!❤️ I have just moved to Florida and this restaurant definitely showed their ALOHA🌺 We have been back 3 times now, and this restaurant has easily become a favorite to my daughter and I.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5 Rolling into The Boathouse in Ponte Vedra Beach with a crew of six hungry food adventurers, we were ready to punch our tickets straight to Flavortown. And for the most part, this local favorite delivered. The setting is relaxed and inviting, located in a shopping center right on A1A with a lively atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. Our table worked its way through a spread worthy of a captain's feast. Fresh seafood, juicy burgers, and plenty of appetizers made their way around the table. The fish was fresh, the portions were generous, and most dishes looked great when they hit the table. Service was friendly and handled our party of six with ease, keeping drinks topped off and making sure everyone was taken care of. Why not five stars? A couple of dishes were good but didn't quite stand out enough to earn top marks. During busy hours, service can also slow down a bit. Still, if you're looking for solid food, cold drinks, and a fun place to gather with friends and family, The Boathouse is definitely worth a visit. We came hungry and left happy. Welcome to Ponte Vedra's little slice of Flavor town.”

“I have to start off that I am not a seafood guy, saying that, you should judge this place for yourself and try it out. Our server was so friendly that the service alone should be the reason you check this place out. The Bang Bang shrimp were good (not Bonefish good, but good) and the deviled bacon oysters were delicious too. The decor is simple and clean (I like it).”

“[OVERVIEW] First off all my scores above would be increased by one star if the prices were lower. In my opinion there are several other restaurants in town at this price point with higher quality food and atmosphere. [FOOD] Unfortunately of our five meals all five were room temperature. Our appetizer (Grouper bites)was very hot so I am assuming it was not the fault of the server. We had the following dishes: - Venison x 2. They ran out of the cauliflower puree so we had to substitute. I did sweet potato mash and my mother had rice. Besides being room temperature the venison was cooked to a perfect medium rare (our choice) and was very delicious. The sauce really made the flavor pop. The broccoli was bland and flavorless (also cold). - Prime cut steak with sweet potatoes, asparagus, and French fries. Prime generally means the cut of steak so unfortunately I could not tell you which cut I got as I forgot to ask. I can say it was a thick cut without a bone. It too was cooked to a perfect medium rare, unfortunately it was also room temperature. My personal opinion is that they relied too much on the sauce as the steak was unseasoned and bland while the sauce was too sweet (wine and mushrooms?). The asparagus were super thick which is generally not my preference as I think the taste too bitter but I believe some like them this way. The sweet potato mash was very good. The French fries were excellent if only that they were a bit too salty. - Lobster roll with French fries and Cole slaw. The lobster was tough and the sandwich as a whole was bland. Cole slaw and the fries (salty) were both good - Lobster ravioli. Also room temperature. The ravioli does not have lobster in it. It’s normal ravioli with lobster mixed in the side of it. The chunks of lobster were also flavorless and tough. Most likely the same lobster put into the lobster roll. The ravioli sauce was more like a tomato based soup, which did taste pretty good. [ATMOSPHERE] The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and inviting. They are are very high ceilings with nothing to damp in the sound so it does get a bit loud and difficult to hear the chairs, table tables, decorations are nice, but nothing to pay extra for. It doesn’t look like they made too many changes from the old establishment. [SERVICE] the service was very good, our waitress did everything in her power to ensure that we were happy and the drinks flowed freely. As I said before, given that the appetizer came out hot I would not blame her for the room temperature food across the board. [CONCLUSION] Without a doubt, my view of this restaurant would’ve been much better if the prices were lower. The temperature of the food is something I would think doesn’t always happen and I would just assume that it doesn’t always happen. In my opinion, the quality of the food just isn’t quite there for the prices they are charging.”
