“We got married here in the midst of Covid, and have absolutely zero regrets. This venue and hotel is absolute gold. It is honestly so beautiful inside and out, the food and drinks are phenomenal, and the service is unlike anywhere else. Back when we had our wedding, it was imaginably a difficult time for both the venue and its wedding couples. We had to postpone our wedding an entire year, and they did everything they could to make sure it was still going to be magical (and beyond). The fact that we could spend the same amount of money over a weekend versus one single (short) night elsewhere, was a no brainer for us. We had our closest family and friends stay with us on the property, and then easily found airbnbs for additional guests nearby. We were even able to hire a shuttle to taxi those not staying on the property. Our family till this day, tells us that our wedding was at the most memorable, beautiful place. Since then, we have visited on multiple occasions for just dinner or weekend stay. I don’t know how they do it, but every time we return it just gets better. The menu and food organically transform with the seasons. The drinks never disappoint. The fireplace is relaxing. The rooms are always cozy. We could sit at the bar and talk with the staff, bartender, or other guests until they close. Whether you’re looking for a wedding venue, or a weekend stay— this place is pure magic! No matter what you do, stay for breakfast. You will never taste biscuits and jam like Foxfire’s.✨”

“We got married at Foxfire Mountain House last May and it was truly a dream come true. Foxfire is such a unique, quirky, and special venue, and from the very beginning the team helped bring our vision to life in a way that felt personal, thoughtful, and completely us. One of the most special parts of the experience was having our wedding party stay on the property with us. Being able to spend the entire weekend together made the celebration feel so much more meaningful and fun, and it created memories we will cherish forever. The day itself was run absolutely seamlessly. Every detail was handled with such care that we were able to fully relax, turn our brains off, and just enjoy every moment. The food deserves its own mention because it is incredible. We loved it so much that we decided to have a focaccia bread cake instead of a traditional wedding cake, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made. The staff went above and beyond to create a beautiful tiered bread cake for us, and our guests are still talking about how delicious and fun it was. What truly sets Foxfire apart is how involved and organized the team is. They managed the planning so thoughtfully and coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors, which took an enormous amount of stress off our plates. Knowing everything was being handled so professionally allowed us to actually enjoy the entire process, not just the wedding day itself. Most of all, the Foxfire team genuinely cares about their couples. You can feel the intention and heart they put into every detail, big and small. They made us feel completely supported, calm, and celebrated throughout the entire weekend. We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more caring and attentive team, and we truly had the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend Foxfire Mountain House enough.”

“Suchhhh a lovely lovely lovely place. So cozy. Honestly, it just seemed like the kind of place that someone would get engaged in a fairytale. Huge fireplace. Gorgeous decor that the owners built and designed themselves. The room was so lovely. Nice and clean and cozy. The restaurant is amazing. The olives were honestly a highlight (so unique, smoky, strong flavour). The steak is to die for. The cheesecake is phenomenal and suprisingly vegan. My only complaint is that the bedroom was super warm at night lol.”
