Darlings

“If I could give this place 6 stars I would! The service is AMAZING, the food is 10/10! Adelaide and LouLou were AWESOME!! We got the chopped salad, arancini balls, a pepperoni pizza, and penne vodka. The chopped salad is the absolute highlight (sounds weird, I know) but it is SUCH a refreshing blend of dill and vinegar. The dressing was so good I bought a bottle of it to take home. The arancini balls were so crunchy on the outside and so nice and mushy on the inside. The pizza was obviously fantastic, super thin crust with the key burnt little bits, a super firm structured crust and base, with awesome sauce. We also got martinis which were served in super cute glasses.”

“This is hands down the best restaurant in all of Prince Edward County. My partner and I visited Darlings over the weekend for the second time and it was nothing less than perfect. From the friendly and attentive service to the amazing food, this restaurant has to be on your list. The food portions are large and reasonably priced. One of the best tomato sauces I’ve ever had! Their patio is beautiful and we had such an awesome experience. We will be back and we will definitely be recommending Darlings to others!”

“My partner and I had high hopes for Darlings, drawn by its charming location in Prince Edward County. The scenic drive to this quaint small town set the stage for what we expected to be a delightful evening. Unfortunately, our experience fell short. The night started poorly when we found a hair in our cocktail. Flagging down our server to address the issue was surprisingly difficult, and while we eventually received a replacement, the oversight was not acknowledged or comped, which felt disappointing given the restaurant’s premium pricing. The food was inconsistent. The salad and pasta were underwhelming, merely adequate for the high price point. The carpaccio, however, was a highlight—flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, though, the quality of the food and service didn’t justify the cost. Darlings has potential, but until the execution matches the price tag, I’d recommend exploring other dining options in the area.”

“Overly priced for overly simple, generic dishes. Service was atrocious. It was as if our table didn’t exist. The servers either kept forgetting an item we ordered or plugged in the wrong order. The servers also decided what dishes would stay on your table and dictated in what order they should be eaten. Weird vibes. Prices were too high for cheese pizza. Avoid and don’t bother! Spend your money and time elsewhere”
