“Cielito was a great experience overall! Parking is available, which made getting there easy. We sat inside and there was plenty of seating with a comfortable atmosphere. The servers were super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The salsa stood out with its delicious smoky flavor and was a great start. The tacos were savory and flavorful, and we also ordered enchiladas—the green sauce was especially delicious and definitely a highlight. The only miss for us was the flan, which could have been better. Overall, a solid spot with great service and tasty food that we’d come back to!”

“First, the best thing I liked about this place. The tortillas are made fresh on site. And they are fabulous. The food is great. They serve a specific regiona Mexicanl cuisine and I liked that. We had an interesting experience with the service. This was a month ago. Our chips were not refilled, we asked for salsa and we didn't get it etc etc. We were not happy. When the manager came around to ask how it's going, we gave the feedback. He explained that the staff is new and then went above and beyond to address it. Also told us that next time we visit, we should expect trained staff. And we will definitely visit again. We were very happy in the end.”

“This is definitely a must-visit spot! We had an incredible meal and will absolutely be coming back whenever we are in the area. The chips are amazing and the guacamole is delicious, the perfect way to start the meal. I also highly recommend the Chile Relleno; it was great and prepared in a unique style I’ve never had before. The enchiladas were also very good and full of flavor. If you're in Danville, don't miss out on this place. The quality and the twist on classic dishes make it stand out”

“This was our first visit, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The décor, tortilla station, and firewood setup feel authentic and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere truly brings Mexican culture to the Bay Area. The food is outstanding. The cocktails were great, the chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, and the ceviche trio was incredibly fresh with impressive presentation. The kitchen team clearly takes pride in their craft. Unfortunately, our service experience did not reflect the same level of care. Our server, Benito, responded in a manner that felt dismissive rather than welcoming. Later, when the wrong dish was brought to our table, there was no acknowledgment or apology only insistence that the mistake was ours. The interaction felt condescending and uncomfortable, which shifted the energy of what had been a wonderful meal. Great food deserves service that makes guests feel respected and valued. I hope the service improves to match the quality of the cuisine.”
