SPQR is an Italian inspired California restaurant. Known for our ever changing menus and innovative pastas including a 5-course pasta tasting menu (Wednesday & Thursday nights only). Our cooking is generous in spirit and focused on seasonal and local ingredients served in an intimate and relaxed environment. Open for dinner. For parties of 6 or less we offer an a la carte menu & a 4 or 5-course prix pixe menu with options. Closed Tuesdays. Vegetarians can be accommodated. A cancellation/no show (for any reason) after 5pm one day before reservation, may be subject to a $30 per person cancellation fee. If you need to cancel, please do so before this time. Reservations have a 15 minute grace period. Corkage is $40 per bottle (750ml) with a two bottle maximum per party.

“I stumbled upon their pasta tasting menu when looking up restaurants online, and it sounded like the perfect thing for me. It was, and it really exceeded my expectations! The staff was accommodating and attentive. I enjoyed all 5 pasta courses and the wine pairing was exquisite. We also got a complimentary dessert at the end which was greatly appreciated. I can’t explain how incredible the flavors were - I don’t know how they come up with them! Going to SPQR was definitely the best decision I made all day.”

“I came here on a Thursday for their pasta tasting menu, and it was everything I hoped. The idea of a pasta tasting menu, a true pasta tasting menu where ALL of the courses are pasta, is something I didn't know existed. But I'm so glad it does. I've been on a pasta exploration of the city and SQPR had some of the most interesting and tasty pasta dishes I've tried. The gnudi and agnolotti were probably my favorites, and the cherry dish was the most unique. They could almost serve it at the end as a dessert pasta. The carbonara was also a nice surprise and very tasty! For my actual dessert they were doing a corn menu at the time and I opted to get a corn cake with corn ice cream, also very nice. My server was super friendly and everything came out promptly. I sat at the bar where you can watch them cook which was fun. I had a glass (and a half! love a half glass) of a nice orange wine. Ambiance was friendly and you can tell it's a nice restaurant, but it's also not too stuffy. I'm surprised the reviews here aren't even higher, I have absolutely no notes.”

“We went last night to celebrate our anniversary and everything was excellent from beginning to end. We sat at the bar and started with the fennel salad and the spinach rotolo lasagna with pomodoro — absolutely delicious! The warm focaccia bread was perfect to accompany our starters. For our mains, we had the Ora King salmon, which was incredible, and the ragu pasta, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we shared the stracciatella ice cream! so good! They truly spoiled us for our anniversary, surprising us with complimentary drinks and extra sweet treats, which made the night even more special. The service was outstanding. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening. The atmosphere is warm and beautiful, perfect for a date night. We will definitely be back! ✨”

“We did the pasta tasting menu, the portions were huge and we couldn't finish. That said, there was no stand out dish or honestly anything I can remember about it that would drive me to go back.”

“Disappointed… food not that tasty and restaurant seemed short of staff. Favorites are the wagyu steak and short rib pasta. The amount of jam on chicken liver toast made the whole piece taste weird/too sweet. The other pasta (forgot its name) tastes salty and spicy in an unpleasant way. Restaurant also seemed short of staff - there seemed to be only 2 servers covering the 10+ tables, and while our server was helpful and did his best, it just seemed very chaotic and we had to wait some time for the food to be served and order to be added. ~$100 pp post tax and tip”
