“Absolutely INCREDIBLE food! This is my top spot on 30A! The MUST TRY is the Seafood Acadiana - it’s a delicious seafood stew with lobster, grouper, shrimp , crawfish, sausage. This was the highlight of the meal! We also had the ribeye which was cooked perfectly! The blacked red fish was so fresh! I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Locally owned and operated by a veteran team Surfing Deer is a fine dining standout in the State. We enjoyed the wine + meal for two menu. Great selection of alcohol alternative beverages as well as wine, spirits and beer. Valet parking is complimentary. Visit the Seagrove Market Cafe afterwards for provisions at home.”

“We hosted a private dinner for 14 guests in the back room at Surfing Deer, and it was truly a flawless experience from start to finish. We had asked for champagne to be served as guests arrived, and everything was set beautifully. They also created an absolutely stunning charcuterie board for us that was as delicious as it was visually impressive, the perfect way to welcome everyone and set the tone for the evening. The service throughout the night was polished, attentive, and warm. We selected a pre-fixed menu for the group, and every single course was exceptional. From the fresh, flavorful salads to the perfectly prepared entrées and decadent desserts, every guest at the table was raving about their meal. We especially appreciated the thoughtful care given to accommodate one of our gluten-free guests,, it was handled seamlessly and with genuine attention. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening and the perfect setting for a special gathering. We will absolutely return”

“This is a nice restaurant with great decor and lots of seating. Really nice bar that serves some unique and beautiful drinks like the fig and the Bee. We started off with some amazing appetizers. Pics included. Salads and desserts are off the charts and entrees great and interesting. Great sauce work. The banana pudding cheesecake was my favorite dish of the night. There were 9 of us and service was handled extremely well I only gave them 4 stars for 2 dishes. The gumbo was thick and sticky like stew with way too much okra. Not good at all and the fish entree was very bland.”
