“I'm finally sharing the awesome dining experience my better-half and I had awhile back, but it is definitely not the first time. The food has always been extremely good and serving size is generous. The main kudos I'd like to give are to the wait staff, however. This last time, Emma waited on us, and she was just wonderful throughout the entire meal--very pleasant, engaging, and very informative re: the menu. And toward the end of our meal, our water glasses were low. Barry, a young gentleman, made it a point to take care of us, even though he was busy with another task--very pleasant, as well. Just great staff all the way around--it's fun to observe them interact with the other diners.”

“Great dinner experience. We needed a place that would take a party of 14, and they were very accommodating. Their drink menu is extensive and the food is fabulous. The brussel sprouts, feta dip, salmon, and the lasagna are all good. They served a family style dinner salad with refills and the table bread was amazing! It's a beautiful location!”

“We visited the first time. We made a reservation, and we're seated immediately. We sat outside and had a lovely view. The beer we ordered was fantastic, cold, and perfect. They brought home made bread, which was out of this world. Our meal was good. The hamburger was tasty. I just was missing something. The ribs were juicy. It is one of the best restaurants in SW MI.”

“The food and menu have really changed-locals come to Clearbrook for great consistent food and unfortunately the menu has completely changed. We ordered the whitefish and it is no longer served on the traditional planks, the steak was mediocre at best and walleye was pretty bland. The Lobster pasta is no longer served and other favorites. The Pernod Lobster was possibly the best dish on the menu.”

“We enjoyed the nostalgic feel of the restaurant, food quality, and server. Three out of the 4 at our table were first timers. We had recently each been out of the country and were sharing our experiences over dinner. At 8:30pm the "manager" approached our table and said a reservation was coming. It was OK to visit for 5 more minutes. We were dumbfounded and confused! We gathered our things, looked around to confirm the empty tables, and later discovered the restaurant closed at 9pm! We've never experienced such disrespect and we'd spent over $200 to be basically kicked out! It truly ruined the evening for us!”
