“Grano.... Wow. Not one dish were we disappointed in. I am currently eating my leftover bolognese right now. The textures, the flavors. So amazing. Pictures don't do anything justice but I tried.”

“I had dinner at Grano in Albany and opted for their 4-course menu. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The highlight for me was the tomato soup—rich, flavorful, and comforting—and the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The pasta course was also good, and the appetizers set the tone beautifully. The service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Grano if you're looking for a good meal in Albany.”

“Came in on a Saturday evening. Visiting our son from out of town. Service was ok, a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry. Food was ok, a bit salty, but overall good. The tiramisu was very good!!!”

“We stopped in for dinner before a show last night. We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff offered us high‑top seating, which we appreciated. Once seated, we learned the menu was very limited for the night. We ordered the chicken Parmesan, chicken Francese, and the tomato‑eggplant stack. The meals were disappointing for the price. The eggplant was overcooked, the chicken Parmesan was dry, and pasta wasn’t included — it was an extra $3 for a small portion. For three people, the bill came to about $85, and unfortunately the food quality didn’t match the cost. Overall, not the experience we were hoping for before the show.”

“Grano has a prime location and plenty of seating, which initially gave me high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The service was extremely disappointing. We constantly had to flag down servers for even the most basic requests. You could easily sit for 20–30 minutes without anyone checking on your table or even noticing you needed assistance. As for the food, the only positive was the fresh bread. Everything else was a letdown. The salad was soggy and oddly put together, more like something you'd expect from a fast-food chain than an Italian restaurant. The arancini was another disappointment—the risotto inside was so dry that it tasted almost undercooked, while the sauce completely overpowered the dish. The rigatoni vodka pasta was equally disappointing. It was incredibly bland and lacked the flavor you'd expect from such a classic Italian dish. The biggest issue is that this is an Italian restaurant, yet none of the dishes we tried were good or even average. Between the poor service and underwhelming food, this was not an experience I would repeat.”
