“Very lovely experience. The food was great! The staff was the highlight of our night. Specifically Ollie, he was very attentive and extremely friendly.”
“We did to go today. I wasn't expecting the food to be this good but I really loved my clam entree. I added shrimp on the side and it was phenomenal. Steak and frites were just ok. Steak was kind of chewy. I also got octopus and it was amazing. Definitely coming back to dine in next time.”
“The view is my favorite, I like that there’s lots of parking available, I went once and the service was amazing. Second time I went the server was hard to find it might have been because we sat outside vs inside like the first time . Boeuf Bourguignon Is delicious. We also had a peach burrata salad that was tasty. The avocado toast and eggs Benedict also recommend (: this was a soup they had and the breakfast americain”
“Daniel was our server who was awesome. Extremely friendly and came with great recommendations. Restaurant was loud but that’s due to how busy it was. Good food and drinks. Was there for brunch and eggs Benedict did not disappoint. Egg was cooked with perfection. I loved their potatoes, right about of seasoning and crunch. Portions sizes were perfect. They do make really good lattes but their espresso Martinis so far the best I have had in Kirkland. Overall very clean restaurant, great service and view of the lake.”
“My friends and I have visited this place for a hangout and since there were a total of 9 of us, we ordered many different dishes to get an overall experience of the food here. I forgot to take photos of my own item, which was the avocado toast. Overall my friends have decided that the food was average to good, and I have decided to rate it as a 3 star due to the pricey nature of many of the dishes that seemed to have relatively smaller quantity. My avocado toast (not pictured) had one piece of sourdough bread with a lot of avocado on it. I felt like the amount of avocado given was great, but for $21 I would honestly be expecting at least two pieces of bread, especially since there was so much avocado. Photos from previous customers also showed something else like arugula or what not next to the toast, while mine had nothing else, which meant it was only half a plate. I also tried the coffe cake and it tasted okay by itself, and the vanilla crème fraîche was pretty regular while the fruit compôte was too sour for my taste. I thoroughly enjoyed my drink, which was called "Le Pamplemousse" essentially meaning grapefruit in French. It didn't contain too much alcohol and had a good amount of fruit taste, making it a pleasant consumption experience. Most of my friends got either the duck has or the wild mushroom omelette. I tried a bit of the duck hash and didn't think that the potatoes, mushrooms, or eggs absorbed the duck confit flavor. Those that had the omelette unanimously agreed that it was only okay, with nothing much in addition to that comment. Even for a modest brunch, each one of us was spending close enough to $50 by having an entrée and a coffee. I feel like it's too exuberant for food that didn't match the price range. One advantage for this establishment was the location, because after my friends and I were done with brunch, we went to close to the lake to watch the lake.”
