“We went here for lunch and were seated right away, which was great since it seemed pretty busy. The atmosphere was beautiful, with a nice view of Fulton Market Street. I ordered a ginger beer mocktail, which was a bit small and on the sweeter side. I added water and it tasted better to me. We tried everything from the happy hour menu, and the French dip was by far the standout dish!”

“I went for brunch and really enjoyed it. The French onion soup was the best I’ve had — seriously. The Royale Burger was good and very filling, but the French toast was the highlight. Super soft, moist, and just really well done. Service and atmosphere were great. Brandon W did an excellent job. I’d definitely go back.”

“The entire experience was fantastic. Great atmosphere! We visited during restaurant week and enjoyed their lunch meal. The food was excellent! Probably the best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had. The front of house staff work together really well and make sure that no table was forgotten. Drinks were always full. Tables clean. Stellar service. The DJ was banging! We celebrated our anniversary and was provided the best bread pudding I've had in years. Again one of the best I've had if not the best. 100% would recommend and would visit again.”

“I came here for a birthday celebration and had a really nice experience overall. I ordered the French Kiss and the Espresso Martini, along with the tuna tartare and the Xavier nuggets. The food was definitely the highlight for me, high quality, well executed, and flavorful, but not the best tartar I’ve had in the area. The drinks were very good too, though I wouldn’t say they were the absolute best. The atmosphere is fabulous: stylish, lively, and perfect for a night out or a celebration. Overall, Bar La Rue is a great spot if you’re looking for good food, solid cocktails, and a beautiful vibe to spend with friends/family/date/etc.”
