“Love this place for cocktails and great Seattle views! It has a great vibe. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a nice rooftop bar in Seattle. Fun music too! 🎶🍸”
“Very lovely place, with a serene view of the vast landscape of Seattle and the surrounding areas. At sunset, on a clearer day, it is particularly spectacular, with the fiery a golden horizon and the mountains in the distance. It can be a little expensive, but considering the view and the fact of it being in Seattle, it's really not that bad. As a non-drinker, I appreciated the inventive non-alcoholic options. The food is hearty and substantive: It will not change your life, but it is utterly enjoyable and delightful. This is a great place to come for a celebration, and that is the occasion on which I came here, to celebrate the achievement of a very good friend of mine. The atmosphere is hip but not insufferably so, and I really recommend sitting outside if you can, even in slightly colder weather. Inside can become quite loud and raucous, especially as the night proceeds, so plan accordingly. This is a gem of the U district that I walked past hundreds of times without understanding that it existed. If you want a delightful experience while staying in the u district, I highly recommend this place.”
“The most incredible view! Their rooftop deck is amazing, you can walk around the whole perimeter and take in this unique view. Lots of tables and couch seating inside and outside. A fun atmosphere too. Their cocktails are absolutely delicious and beautiful, the whisky cure-all was my favorite. The snacks were great too! The cheesy crab dip and MC sampler platter were perfect. And the service was so great….everyone checked in on us to make sure we were happy and provide feedback on the cocktails. We really appreciated the friendly service.”
“The Mountaineering Club in Seattle is an excellent rooftop bar that truly embraces its atmosphere. It offers a thoughtfully curated selection of drinks and a refreshingly unpretentious food menu that pairs perfectly with the stunning panoramic views. Whether you're taking in the city skyline or gazing at the distant mountains, the setting is unbeatable. The relaxed yet refined ambiance makes it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. With quality cocktails, satisfying bites, and breathtaking scenery, it’s a place that exceeds expectations while staying true to its essence. A must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy Seattle from above!”
“This is great spot for a drink and a view. With that said, I would never eat here, and with the drinks being $24 with the added gratuity, I only come here on special occasions and I only enjoy one. The view is stunning, but I will also add that it is one of the biggest shames that there was a high rise built in front of what used to be the best view of Mount Rainier in the entire city. I have no idea how the hotel & bar (and city, to be honest) let this happen, but maybe there was nothing they could do. I have been a customer since 2019, the service has always been amazing but sadly the space has progressed to more of a froo-froo hotel bar than what it used to be. Photo of the old view of mount rainier before 5 high rises were added to u-district, circa 2019.”
