Coast Kitchen is a Californian restaurant in the Jenner neighborhood of Jenner.
“The main highlight of this restaurant is definitely the view. Service and food are good, no complaints there. You can order your meal in the lobby and enjoy the atmosphere by the fireplace, or sit outside in the fresh ocean air. After lunch you can walk around the hotel property — very peaceful, very atmospheric. A great spot to relax and take in the scenery.”
“This was our second visit to Coast Kitchen! We came here two years ago to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and returned earlier this month for mine. The setting is beautiful, the restaurant has lovely coastal views and a charming atmosphere. We ordered the salmon wings, Caesar salad, cioppino, duck entrée, and both the pear & apple crumble and cheesecake for dessert. While everything was nicely presented, I did feel the food was a bit overpriced for what it was, the cioppino, for instance, was about $50 and had only a few pieces of seafood. Still, it’s a nice spot for a special occasion, especially if you’re staying in the hotel or looking for a scenic dining experience.”
“I recently dined at Coast Kitchen while staying at Timber Cove Resort, and it was a convenient, tasty option right on-site. The burger was a standout—juicy, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. As for the mussels, they were decent but nothing exceptional, a little too heavy on the white wine sauce; I wouldn’t say they’re a must-order. The ocean views and laid-back resort vibe made it a pleasant spot to grab a meal after exploring the coast. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. Overall, it’s a great stop if you’re staying there—solid food and prime location.”
“We were really excited to dine here since we were staying at the hotel. After reading the reviews, we expected great food along with the amazing view. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered the seafood stew, and while it was just okay, the portion was surprisingly small for $48—just two shrimp, 3 mussels, and some small pieces of squid and potatoes. It wasn’t very filling. My son ordered the short rib and mentioned that the meat portion was quite small, too. Thankfully, it came with potatoes, or he likely would have still been hungry. My daughter had the black cod, but found it lacking flavor and overall quite bland. With limited dining options nearby, we were really hoping for a better experience.”
“Sad to say it but... underwhelming and overpriced. I went in expecting higher than average prices, but I was really let down by the food and the service. Service was friendly but slow. We waited 45 minutes for three entrees. After 35 minutes, the server apologized and brought bread. Cmon, can't you just bring bread when we order? This happened to the table next to us too. Once it came, the food was... Ok. The seafood risotto was small, and very light on the seafood. The burger was overcooked, as was the steak. To the server's credit, she took two drinks off the bill. It would have more helpful if she had been more proactive throughout. It's a wonderful location, but that's really the best that can be said.”
