Wild Child St Pete is a New American restaurant in the St. Petersburg neighborhood of St. Petersburg.
“St. Pete is full of great places to eat and Wild Child is near the top of that list for me. The location itself has a nice cozy indoor seating section but with limited seating I’m glad we had a reservation. There is outdoor seating as well however. The drinks were all great and I wish I could remember what they were, but the bartender did a great job and they were all delicious with generous pours. I do remember we tried the Bad Bunny and the Paloma, but I ended up switching to regular margaritas which were well done. I docked 1 star for food simply because the menu is pretty small, but I loved the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and my dinner date liked their salad. I’d definitely come back again and just hope that maybe the menu rotates or gets updated regularly.”
“From the first interaction with Cat, we had a good feeling about Wild Child. We showed up without a res on Easter Sunday, just after noon. Kim asked if we had any shot…of course, Cat replied with “we are booked.” I looked at Cat, smiled and said thank you. Just as this was transpiring, one of the tables on the sidewalk looked like they were leaving. Cat noticed and said those magic words: “Are you okay with the sidewalk?” WIN! That was just the first of many great moves we enjoyed. The drinks…oh the drinks. Kim tried the Carajillo Cold Brew and I went with a mezcal Lost Weekend. Kim won. That Cold Brew was just a bit better than that smokey Lost Weekend. These drinks are not cheap but are well thought out and made. We were also heavy one mother-in-law. Mary enjoyed two of the house Mimosas - pineapple style. The food was equally well prepared. As per the photos, the portion sizes were appropriate for lunch, and it was clear that Wild Child put the efforts into the quality of the food and not the sheer quantity. Another WIN! I had the Saltimbocca Omlet along with Mary, while Kim had the Shakshuka (on Brian the waiter’s recommendation). Kim’s words: herbaceous and savoury, warm and comforting like a breakfast hug. The omelet was perfectly made if you enjoy a classic French omelet. Just set, not over and filled with delicious prosciutto and caramelized onions. Sorry for the run-on sentence. Also, I recommend the fruit salad. Best I have ever had. Period. Full Stop. Cat…Brian…and the rest of you at Wild Child…Well Done!”
“One of my favorite brunch spots in St. Pete. Great food and flavors, good service, and awesome vibes. Korean chicken sandwich: 9.5/10 - flavorful, juicy, fresh fries. Always a pick. Salmon Benedict: 8/10 - nice combination of latka, eggs, veggies, and hollandaise. Wish the egg was a bit more orange than yellow. Porn Star Martini - strong and delicious.”
“Super glad we finally came to Wild Child! We splurged a bit and started with 3 Appetizers. The Crispy Brussel sprouts were incredibly well done, perfect texture and with a unique citrusy vinaigrette and savory garlic aioli, it honestly was the perfect start. The croquetas were exceptional with the perfect crunch and filling and the sage crema was a total surprise. We ended up getting more of the crema 🤤. I liked the Tuna Tostadas but I kinda wanted a bit more creativity considering the other two dishes. At this point we were mostly full but we still wanted to try some things, so we got the Mushroom Dumplings and the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and the textures/flavors meshed really well. The French fries were perfecttttt. Cocktails were all delicious too! They have a unique range of drinks, some mainstream some daring, gotta love it. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu and for the drinks. Will happily recommend to friends for both a great dinner out or a special occasion, or just drinks!”
“The food is absolutely delicious!!!! Very well thought out dishes prepared to perfection!!! We will definitely be back! Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert…. The tres leches is to DIE FOR. You don’t find food this eclectic and unique anywhere else. This place should have a Michelin star! Only thing I would suggest is some type of uniform for the waiters. I couldn’t tell our waiter apart from the guests. Even if it’s just the shirt that says the company name, it would be helpful. Staff is super friendly too!”
