“Had a really enjoyable time at Belle Isle! The atmosphere was lively, interior was quirky, service was exceptional, and food was stellar. Fave dishes of the night were the hamachi and wings. The drinks looked really interesting, despite not getting any. I did feel the claypot rice was a bit overpriced for what you get, but aside from that, great dining experience. Highly recommend giving the team at Belle Isle a visit!”

Each dish featured incredible flavor pairings that were clearly well thought out. “Belle Isle has a great range of menu items, blending Asian and Western techniques and flavors in a really thoughtful way. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, perfect for a date or a relaxed one-on-one. The menu names are creative and fun, and the food definitely lived up to it. My favorite dishes were the HK curry crudo, shrimp toast, and clay pot rice. The curry in the crudo had a strong, rich flavor that balanced beautifully with the lighter, buttery texture of the hamachi. The shrimp toast had a really nice consistency from the finely blended shrimp, and the spicy sauce on the side complemented it perfectly. The clay pot rice brought it all together, the crispy rice added a great textural contrast that made the dish even more satisfying.”

“Cantonese with a lovely twist. The appetizers are very unique, the crudo has solid flavours, the potato julienne salad is a revelation of a dish. The clay pot rice has it all, great base flavours, awesome textures. Deserts are unique but not as strong as the food in execution. Really loved this place!”
