First and Main is a Fusion restaurant in the Downtown Turlock neighborhood of Turlock.
“We made reservations at 6pm. We were seated quickly. Food was delicious. Speedy service. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend”
“First & Main offered a variety of drink options we ordered off of their seasonal drink menu. The drinks were well balanced. For appetizers, we ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp and the Crispy Rock Shrimp Roll, both dishes were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the Salmon and Thai Shrimp Coconut Curry. The salmon was cooked to the temperature we requested, the sauce was creamy and tasty, the broccoli had a bit of char but tasted as if they were only steamed. The Thai Shrimp Coconut Curry was sweet but not overly sweet the coconut was not overpowering overall the dish was very flavorful and well balanced. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends.”
“Absolutely amazing food. So tasty and flavorful. Their truffle fries are so good, as is about anything on their menu. They are a bit pricey, so expect to pay $20+ per meal, and drinks about $13. The service could have been a little bit better but overall had a good time with family and enjoyed the food. This is definitely a restaurant you want to make reservations for. (You can do this online)”
“We got cucumber appetizer and it was good but just a little bland, so I asked for lime and salt and it was delicious after that. Our bowls/salads were good too but they had a little too much noodles and rice. The place was very nicely decorated and staff was very friendly.”
“This place is okay and that's okay. The food and environment tries to be upscale however it's mid. Over priced for what it is. I order Ahi nachos it had 8 small cubes of tuna for 19 bucks I would expect a little more. The tuna you can taste its not fresh. My entrée was seared tuna. The middle should have been a vibrant red, however it was over cooked. The waiter made it right sent it back and got me the right temperature but then the kitchen never put the sides back on the plate and just brought the tuna... my wife got the korean stone which she did enjoy. A common theme is low meat high amounts of rice. Which nothing is wrong alot of resturants do this however the price is where the issue arises. Korean stone was 27 dollars 6 pieces of tuna was 28 dollars. The upside was the waiter who was very attentive, and the cocktails. These were bomb. Cali heat was delicious smoky yet sweet.”
