The Cove

“We went for my spouse's birthday for lunch and really enjoyed the food and the service. Our server was really sweet and made sure our order arrived perfectly. We ordered some seasonal drinks which were delightful. For the main course, we ordered clam chowder, crab cake entree and chicken sliders one which came with fries and the other we opted for salad. The salad had some raw shrimp which I wasn't able to eat so our server changed them immediately upon requesting. We went on a bright and sunny day and the outside was just perfect to take a walk by the river. Very beautiful spot and so glad we went even though it was quite a bit of drive for us. The only thing we felt off was when we entered we were told to sit at the bar and wasn't even asked if we had a reservation which I didn't really like how it came across. I'm sure it was a small mistake on their part but make sure to tell them if you have a reservation already.”

“Had a wonderful time tonight with a very attentive server (Antonio) who made sure our experience tonight was timed to perfection. He presented the special which was the Salmon cooked on a wood fired grill with a balsamic glaze with two seared scallops, grilled asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and served with a mushroom sauce. My partner happily ordered and enjoyed it very much. I ordered the seafood bucatini which was also very delicious. We unfortunately had too much of a good time with the appetizers and couldn’t finish our entrees I highly recommend the seafood chowder and Spanish muscles. The drinks were also well made 💕”

The Cove is not just an excellent restaurant with fantastic food and fabulous service, it is owned, run and staffed by just the very best people of all! ❤️😘 Great location, great food, really great service. Jennifer is a gem, friendly and helpful, the cocktails are unique and the food is yum! Pretty decorations for Christmas at the moment!”

“The restaurant atmosphere and food were great! Their halibut sandwich and cove salad were delicious, and the salmon special was very tasty. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and cooked well…nothing to complain about flavor wise. Service was very slow for the chilled seafood platter. We were approached by what appeared to be management who apologized for the delay. Our server was very nice and attentive otherwise.”

“Nice venue on the river. The appetizers were good but everything else was just not as good as the cost. The drinks tasted good but were expensive ($13+) and weak (no alcohol). I had the fish and chips and was not impressed. They looked and tasted like frozen “fish sticks”. The seafood platter looked good but had crappy tuna. The place was not busy yet the service was slow and sporadic. I really wanted to like this place but I was, overall, disappointed. It was $97 per person(after dividing by 3). Two appetizers, 3 entrees, 1 desert, and 4 drinks. For mediocre food, it was over priced. The actual venue itself was lovely.”
