The Covington Restaurant

“Absolutely loved this spot for dinner. I had been wanting to try The Covington for a while but we are usually dining as a group of six and the restaurant is pretty cozy with mostly 2 and 4 top tables. I finally got a chance to dine there with a friend during my most recent visit in late May and I was really delighted. The service was friendly and our waitress gave helpful recommendations on the menu but the food delivery was on the sluggish side. For dinner we shared the sweet potato rolls, smokes cauliflower, bolognese and the halibut. Favorite dish was far and away the smoked cauliflower. It was absolutely outstanding. The flavors and textures were perfection. The halibut and the pasta were also both great. Cannot wait to come back and try their other veggie dishes, mushroom ragu and pork chop which also looked very tempting.”

“I would give The Covington more than 5 stars if I could! The decor is simple and elegant, but the food is out of this world. We shared the fish special (meant for 2-3 people) and it was perfect for two of us with big appetites. We also enjoyed the sweet and spicy cucumbers, marinated olives, halibut tartare, and the honey pie. I'm a dessert connoisseur, and this honey pie did not disappoint me!”

“Delicious food with fresh ingredients. We ordered the spicy cucumber salad, which beat expectations, the olive spread, and halibut. The halibut had a beautiful salty crust and was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we ordered the honey pie, which was light and not overally sweet, and was paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's definitely worth checking out.”

“I now have a new favorite restaurant! Covington has exceptional staff, amazing flavors and combinations, top notch freshness, and is an all-around fantastic place. We actually went back for dinner here during our four night stay because it was that good, and we wanted to try the other dishes. We shared the sweet potato rolls, squash and beans, smoked beets, garden salad, basil and walnut pesto ricotta gnocchi, and mushroom ragu. All were amazingly delicious and presented quickly and beautifully. Both evenings we dined outside at a lovely little side table. This place is hard to beat! I would give it six stars if I could.”

“Wow! The food is amazing! Hard to believe but the artisan sourdough bread with the spread was indescribably delicious! The smoked beets appetizer was also a taste sensation. The halibut was tasty Some great drinks too Highly recommend!”
