“My best friend and I decided to pop in at 9:45pm on a Saturday on a whim, and this place completely blew us away. You know the food hits different when the only conversation at the table is about the food itself and that’s exactly what happened here. The all-you-can-eat spread was perfectly curated, but the real gem? The KBBQ wings. Hands down the best wings I’ve had in DC so far. Double fried to perfection with a sweet and spicy glaze that is sticky in the best way possible! Ask for wipes 😩, you’ll need them and you won’t regret it. What really set Gogi Yogi apart though was the energy of the staff. I couldn’t help but notice the bar team laughing and genuinely enjoying themselves at work. That kind of joy is contagious and honestly a lost art in hospitality. It made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming even on a packed Saturday night.”

“Went to Gogi Yogi, really solid spot. Meat quality is great, everything fresh, and cooking it yourself at the table is actually fun. Feels more like an experience than just dinner. Atmosphere is lively but not pretentious, service is easygoing. If you’re in DC and want Korean BBQ, definitely worth it.”

“Can I give my server 10 stars? She was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. Now I didn’t know about reservations , but the place was empty besides maybe two people at the bar . I told her how I was trying a different country’s food every single night that I’m here and she was very knowledgeable about the DC area. She helped me cook my meal when she saw I was having a little trouble getting all sides cooked evenly and even shared some good travel stories herself. It made my solo trip meal not so alone and that was a good feeling. If you’re in town visiting or if you live in the area definitely come to this spot for amazing food and service.”

“One of the best Korean BBQ. They have Halal option. Price is higher but unlimited refills. Chicken and beef are delicious. Side dishes were also delicious. Overall it was a great meal. Customer service and atmosphere were great. They don’t have parking and street parking is difficult.”

“Gogi Yogi has a new fan!! Even though we arrived a bit late in the evening, they welcomed us graciously — the staff was friendly, kind, and very accommodating. We ordered the marinated chicken and it was wonderful — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor, with a nicely balanced marinade. We also had fried dumplings which came out hot and crispy and paired nicely with the dipping sauce. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, and the pricing felt completely reasonable for what we got. I was impressed by the variety of side dishes we got to try. Along with rice, there were some interesting little plates — there was a beet-based dish and a slaw-type side (similar to a jicama or radish-style salad) and a “kimchi”-style pickled vegetable dish, which was fun and tasty. It was nice to have the opportunity to try a few of those different Korean “banchan”-style sides — they added variety and made the meal feel more complete. The ambiance inside is modern and lively, with classic Korean-BBQ table-top grills, and a comfortable, casual vibe. For the price, service, and overall quality, I’d absolutely go back to explore more of the menu. Gogi Yogi gets a strong recommendation from me for anyone looking for a great Korean BBQ experience in DC.”
