“Just had Sunday brunch here right by the water. Very spacious old world Italian vibe with indoor & outdoor dining. Service was exceptional, food selections were unique and delightful. Must haves are the Italian coffee with tiramisu whipped cream and the Bomboloni Box ricotta warm doughnuts with chocolate and caramel sauce. The red and golden roasted beet salad very refreshing as well as the brusseles sprouts with pistachio pesto. Didn’t try the huge Morini ricotta pancakes with a verity of toppings to choose from smoked salmon to blueberry lemoncello. Did have eyes surprise with the pancake old fashioned.”

“The food was delicious, but Not a child friendly place *if diaper changes are needed (the bathroom was VERY dark)* and *if your kids need a children's menu (no childrens menu)* the waiters are very kind and love babies. We got so many different dishes: -Appetizers Burrata with prosciutto Misticana -Main Spaghetti with meatballs Casarecce Pappardelle Brunch Burger Tagliatelle We did make reservations but it was not busy for a lunch on a Saturday even though it was at the wharf area.”

“As a Sicilian who grew up cooking (and eating!) incredible Italian food, I can be a pretty tough critic. That said, this place definitely impressed me. The fresh pasta is absolutely amazing - you can really taste the quality and care that goes into making it. The presentation is top notch, and every dish looks as good as it tastes. The service is also so on point - attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. My only small critique is that the serving size is a bit on the small side for the price. Still, the overall experience makes up for it. And honestly, you can’t beat the atmosphere - everyone loves sitting by the water and enjoying the view. Great food, beautiful presentation, excellent service, and a fantastic setting. I’d definitely come back!”

“​I had a fantastic dinner at Osteria Morini! The atmosphere was great, and our server, Alfonzo, provided excellent service throughout the evening. ​We started with some drinks—the Sfumato Old Fashioned and Cosmo Ausano were both expertly crafted. For the main course, the Gramigna and Cappelletti were highlights; the pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. ​To top it all off, the Tiramisu was amazing—definitely don't skip dessert here! It’s a perfect spot for a nice night out in DC. I highly recommend it if you're in the Navy Yard area.”

“The food was good, but the service took entirely too long. It didn’t seem very busy, so the wait was frustrating. I expected a somewhat similar experience to Carbonara because of the proximity, but there was really no comparison. While the staff was polite, the service felt inconsistent with multiple servers and even the manager stepping in. Several items we requested were unavailable, and small details were off—utensils weren’t provided until after the food arrived, and our bottled water wasn’t opened at the table. There was also a miscommunication when I requested bread and never received it. Overall, I’d rate this place a 3/5. The food was enjoyable, but the experience didn’t match the hype, and I likely wouldn’t return.”
