“An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The swordfish ceviche was remarkably fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, showcasing the quality of the seafood without overwhelming it. The oyster selection was a true highlight, offering a delightful trio of distinct flavors and textures that reflected both freshness and careful curation. The rare ahi tuna was simply outstanding—beautifully prepared, tender, and bursting with clean, rich flavor. Every dish demonstrated attention to detail and respect for the ingredients. To elevate the evening even further, the Portuguese wine selections were superb, pairing wonderfully with the seafood and introducing elegant layers of minerality, freshness, and complexity throughout the meal. What truly set the evening apart, however, was the warmth and hospitality of Judita, the owner. Her personal attention, genuine passion, and gracious presence made us feel not like customers, but honored guests. It is rare to encounter an owner so engaged and dedicated to ensuring every detail of the dining experience exceeds expectations. Pesce delivered an unforgettable combination of exceptional cuisine, impeccable seafood quality, outstanding wines, and heartfelt hospitality. “Met friends for dinner here while visiting DC. What a gem! We had a blast. The owner made the evening. She is so lovely and gracious that you feel you’re having dinner with friends and not in a restaurant. She gave wonderful suggestions explaining dishes in detail. We ordered the 3 course dinner with wine pairings and everything was as beautifully presented as it was delicious. Standouts were the lobster bisque, scallops and bouillabaisse. Will definitely return next time we are in DC”

“The service was precise and attentive without being intrusive. The dining room was spotless. Our server knew the menu inside and out and paced everything well. The lobster bisque was deeply flavorful and balanced, easily the best I’ve had. The sardines were fresh and clean tasting. The affogato and the key lime mousse were the right finish, light, bright, and not overly sweet.”
