“Wow! This place is just delicious! I stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. I enjoyed the prix fixe menu. I started with oysters that were flavorful and huge. A beautiful crab cake and the signature "Joe's Famous Grilled Tomatoes" were my main and out of this world! I was stuffed at this point so my fantastic server boxed up my key lime pie for me to enjoy later. And I certainly did. The service was on point. The meal was outstanding. And I will be stopping back for my next delicious meal as soon as I am back in town. So in the meantime, go to Joe's for me. Enjoy!”

“We were visiting DC from Florida and chose Joe’s to celebrate our anniversary dinner and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We started with happy hour in the bar area, where Erika took great care of us with quick, courteous service and a warm attitude. For dinner, Bermi truly helped make our evening feel extra special. He was attentive, personable, and made excellent recommendations that elevated our entire meal. Jonathan H, the bar-back, was also incredibly friendly and quick to accommodate any request. The level of service from the whole team was outstanding. Everything we ate was phenomenal. During happy hour, we enjoyed the calamari and blackened salmon sliders, both delicious. For dinner, the sea bass and seafood platter paired perfectly with the crispy Brussels sprouts. To top off the evening, we indulged in the peanut butter pie and coconut cream pie—both absolutely delectable. This was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!”

“Went for a birthday celebration right before the snow storm hit and I am so glad we ventured out in the cold. Everything was exceptional from the moment we walked in. Great staff, AMAZING food and beautiful atmosphere. Will definitely take the trip from Baltimore again.”

“The attention to detail with the entire experience was incredible between the food, service, and atmosphere. Further, as someone with Celiac, I can truly say the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate me, while also already offering a fantastic selection of gluten-free items that were actually celiac/allergy safe. “I had high hopes for this but the majority of it wasn’t comparable to Capital Grille or La Grande Boucherie unfortunately. We ordered one mocktail (wasn’t good), 2 cocktails and a coke. My filet mignon was perfect (got the bone marrow butter with it – if you go, must try). But one person ordered a medium steak and it was medium rare to rare. The sides were flavorless they said (my baked potato was good). The desserts we chose were a coconut pie, a tres leches pie, and a chocolate pie. The only good one was the tres leches he said. If you love chocolate, this is NOT a sweet kind of chocolate. Not bitter, just not sweet. One person just didn’t like how MUCH coconut flakes were on hers. There was also some bread beforehand, which wasn’t good. Cold and hard and not tasty. The server had a bit of a communication issue it seemed. So she randomly took one of our drinks away thinking we didn’t want it even after we told her to leave it. Had to repeat a lot of things back and forth to get some understanding of orders. Atmosphere here was nothing neat or unique. Very bland feeling. Price for the 3 was $350 including tip.”
