Amiraj is an Indian restaurant in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Williamsburg.
“My husband brought me to Amiraj for the the first time today and we absolutely loved our experience dining in. The atmosphere was stunning...The service was incredibly hospitable. The doom damaka and Amiraj's old fashioned was phenomenal...The spinach chaat...WOW. We had butter chicken and the surf and turf for mains which were delicious. We finished off with kulfi, warm gajer ka halwa and chai. (Almost cried) Thank you for having us and giving us a taste of home. Can't wait to go back!”
“Well lit, but soft, not harsh. Couches with pillows at our table added to our comfort and the ambiance. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly, very service-minded and ready to answer questions or make suggestions. The food was delicious and varied - chicken, vegetables, naan, rice, papri chaat, pistachio cake and mango cheesecake: each dish had full and distinct flavors that paired well together. My favorite aspect, like a cherry on the whipped cream on the ice cream: I asked for tea; they knew I wanted black. Then I told them I'd take a pot on the table if they had and they did. No awkward response, no hesitation - they just brought me a full pot of hot tea on a cold night, and I was fully satisfied.”
“Took my parents here for dinner wanted to spice up our dinner experince with some Indian food. We got reservations and the table for 3 was nice and comfy excellent vibe and welcoming vibe. The place was very pleasant and every dish from appetizers to main course was excellent !! My father is know for being a picky eater. But he said this was well worth it and the service was great !! Thank you for making our dinner experince a superb.”
“I was visiting the area for the weekend and happened to come across this place. Glad to have found it, cause the food was amazing! They have some unique dishes not found in your run of the mill Indian restaurant. They bring together Indian and western flavors creating unique dishes that excite the palate. Would definitely recommend this place for someone looking to enjoy good Indian food! Btw: their turmeric latte is a must try!”
“Service was super quick ! Ambience was great. One of the best Mango lassi -5/5. Lacha paratha was also good. Paneer makhani was good but didn’t feel authentic - 4/5. Gobi Manchuria - 5/5. Portions are huge. Lentil soup was bland - 4/5. Overall good food. Will surely visit again when in town.”
