“Loved our experience here. Came on a weekend night without reservation but the staff was accommodating. We tried the vegetarian sampler, cocktails, and paneer paratha and thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The atmosphere was fun and friendly. We will definitely be back again if ever in the area.”

“Four of us had supper at Vij’s and everyone had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. Not a bad dish among the ten or so that we ordered. The lamb popsicles were especially good. We also tried the Alpaca which was interesting and a favourite of one of our diners. The service is top notch. Servers move gracefully throughout the room and are always there to fill your glass or remove finished dishes without being obtrusive. The atmosphere is fun and even though the restaurant was full it didn’t feel crowded. Chef Vicram spends a fair bit of time on the floor and chats with all of the diners. We got a group picture which he was happy to do and he shared a hilarious story about Alpacas and how they end up on the menu. Thanks for a great evening. This will be a regular stop when we are in Vancouver for sure!”

“Best north indian food i've had in north america. Even the naan's dough was unique and quite tasty. My favorite dish was the spicy jackfruit that was shareable dish. You must go here!!!!”

“Chef Vij and the entire staff offered us one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Everyone was incredibly polite and constantly made sure everything was perfect, which truly elevated the experience. Chef Vij personally ensured we enjoyed every dish and took the time to explain the flavours, making it even more special. From the Railway Platter and the lamb kebabs to the absolute star of the evening, Vikram’s favourite snack, everything was truly mind blowing. The flavours were beautifully defined, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the desserts were simply to die for, especially the kulfi. To top it all off, Vij’s gin and tonic was the best I’ve ever had. If you want the best Indian food Vancouver has to offer, Vij’s is the place to be. We drove all the way from Abbotsford and it was completely worth it, I would happily do it again.”
