Established in early 2022, the restaurant is the culmination of over 20 years of culinary experience by chef Ricky. The name Rikki Tikki is a play on chef Ricky's own name and inspired by his deep connection to Indian flavours and culture. From start to finish you feel the warmth during your visit. Thoughtfully designed ambience of our home gives you a contemporary feel with cosy vibes where you will love to spend time with your loved ones. We regard ourself as the best restaurants in the GTA. Here in Rikki Tikki every dish tells a story. Every dish is the journey of culture, flavours and glorious history of different regions of India. Which is an initiative to bring different cultures and countries together via food and hospitality. Being an Indian restaurant and representative of rich culture and heritage we are focusing and committed to bring long historical evolution to the land of dreams. This will be a tribute to our mother land and to the land who gave opportunities to many who came here with a vision to grow and contribute.
“Recently tried this place with my friends for Sunday lunch. Sophisticated ambience with some really authentic Indian delicacies. We tried their Chicken Kebab (out of the menu recommended), Coconut Prawn Curry, Hyderabad Chicken Curry, and Chicken Biryani. We also added Tandoori Roti and Garlic Naan. All the dishes ordered were flavoursome, especially the Coconut Prawn Curry. The dishes were well presented with prompt service and quite friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend if you want to try some authentic Indian cuisine in downtown Toronto.”
“So delicious and amazing service. Prab was super friendly and took time to give us recommendations and we went with the Murraya koenigii chicken, jeera rice, and braised lamb shank. The flavor was sophisticated and perfectly balanced, the braised lamb was a standout. Namen did a great job with the drinks too, the mango passion was a perfect accompaniment to balance the heat from the dishes.”
