“I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The dishes are incredible and prepared with tender love and care, each vegetable is fresh and cooked to a level that would make Gordon Ramsey blush. The Pollo Genevieve is immaculate, salmon is cooked to a perfect crisp. Wines are well-priced and beautifully paired. Waitress was attentive and personable, most likely to win an award for fantastic service. Best food we had in Wilmington, and we tried every single place without exception for sure. Live piano music, musician assumed to be a direct descendant of Beethoven. The customer next to us had the voice of RFK Jr. and the aura of a car crash, but that is not the restaurants fault. Waitress who handled her should get a Purple Heart. 6/5 stars, recommend it to your family right now.”

“In town for the day and decided to try The Cardinal. The food was EXCELLENT. This is definitely a place to try if you’re in the area. For appetizers, we did goat cheese stuffed dates (AMAZING) and fresh sourdough bread. The pizza, pasta, and salad were incredible. Two thumbs up - we’re leaving stuffed!”

“I had the best time here on a date night! The place felt so cozy and the live music made the night feel really special. Our server Dylan was so kind and knew the menu really well. She helped us choose everything and made us feel really at home the whole time. We started with the baked brie with apples which was warm and so good, and I got the white pizza with blackened chicken that I loved. For dessert we had crème brûlée and it was the perfect ending. Everything was delicious and the whole night just felt like such a treat. I can’t wait to come back again”

“What a great spot! First time diner. The layout is really cool with a nice sized bar area on one side and dining room on the other…the food was fantastic and our server Michael added to all of it in a positive way! Great specials including 2 additional seafood options and a diverse menu including multiple small bites if you just want a tapas type of experience. The shortrib and house pasta specialty with added shrimp was delicious. Will absolutely return!”

“Really enjoyed this restaurant and we will be back. Highly recommend! There was a single gentleman providing entertainment on Friday night 1/16. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. We were not rushed which we really like. The owner came over and asked how everything was. Restaurant was very clean. Food was delicious. The shrimp appetizer was outstanding. Drinks were made well. We also had the filet mignon, salmon, mahi special and lamp chop special. All were delicious.we had three desserts which did not disappoint either!found on google and was a gem!!”
