“Solid dinner spot that doesn’t disappoint. We started with the crab dip and parmesan-crusted crostini — the kind of appetizer that disappears before the entrees hit the table. The seared ahi with broccoli and rice was cooked perfectly, rare in the center with a great crust. The ribeye was a standout — good char, good size, served with rice pilaf and a fried side. The filet with herb butter and cheesy mashed potatoes was the table favorite — butter-tender with a nice crust and a rich sauce underneath. The grilled fish was simple and clean, paired with mashed and rice. Caesar salad with blackened shrimp was a nice lighter option that held its own.”

“I chose The Bridge Tender in Wrightsville Beach to take my wife for dinner as part of our 25th wedding anniversary celebration weekend, and it was a truly phenomenal experience. First, the restaurant's setting on the Intracoastal Waterway made for the perfect, romantic ambiance to celebrate our milestone. The food and drinks were simply outstanding. Our cocktails were perfectly crafted and incredibly tasty. As for our meals—the Filet for me and the Blackened Salmon for my wife—they were honestly better than any food we have had in quite a long time. No matter your budget, there are many options on the menu for all, including a kids menu for the younger diners in your group. What truly set the evening apart, however, was the impeccable service. Constance incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Even though I didn't announce our anniversary to her, she still made our anniversary dinner feel special. She took such great care of us that she honestly deserves a raise! Thank you Constance!! “Wondeful restaurant with Great Food, unique cocktails and waterfront views. Definitely a must visit when in the Mayfaire Town Center area of Wilmington. My only complaint is that the Oysters Rockefeller appetizer is not served on the half shell, otherwise the food was quite good. Do try the bread pudding. Portion enough for 2-3 and its delicious.”

I chose Bridgetender because I remember some of my best family dinner outings. When I was younger were spent here. This has always been my favorite restaurant since childhood. “Made reservations to take our visiting friend a good view and good view in Wilmington/Wrightsville. Table booth was really great view. Terrific young lady trying her best to take care of us as our waitress but: - obvious the establishment is struggling with help - dinner for 4 was $240 including trip and only one cocktail drinker in our group. - beverages were not refilled. Water glasses ran dry - salad never served - horseradish tuna very good and large portion - bathrooms very clean - not sure if we will go back mainly because for that kind of price… expect better service.”
