“Wonderful meal and service. First time dining here and will definitely return. Our waiter was attentive. The food was delicious- we enjoyed crab cakes, mashed potatoes and braised short rib. The bread basket with the selection of spreads was the perfect start to the meal.”

“The atmosphere of this establishment was quiet and elegant. Our server was very knowledgeable but quite disinterested. He served the bread plate and walked away. There were several bread options and butter spreads, it would have been nice to have known the different types. Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it, the photo doesn’t give it justice. I couldn’t decide on a favorite because they were all so delicious. The drinks were well made. You can watch the food being cooked in the kitchen which is always nice. It did take a while for our order to come, but there were only two chefs and a sous chef. We weren’t in a rush. The steak was good, not great. The mac and cheese was dry. Really dry. The pasta was bland and oily. I would return but would not order anything I ordered this round.”

“We have been to Copper Rock numerous times, but this last time was probably the worst experience so far, and definitely was not worth the price. Out of the 4 meals, only 2 were what was expected. The braised short ribs were only super fatty pieces with very little meat. One of the meals was ordered as a coffee-rubbed filet but was served as a standard filet with butter. We also ordered a side of the onion rings, which came out burnt. They were sent back and removed from the bill. The waitress even remarked that they looked burnt, so we are unsure why they were served. One member of our party had her drink removed and refilled when she was not even halfway finished with it. This was done without confirmation from the waitress, which is unacceptable for a restaurant that charges by the drink. One of our party also ordered a special that was a NY Strip and Lobster Risotto for $95. The strip had a very thick tendon in it, which is sometimes unavoidable but we would expect better for that price. For a meal that cost over $350 between 4 people, it was sub-par quality and has us questioning if we will be back, despite previous positive experiences.”
