“My husband and I just had dinner there. The establishment was beautiful. I was afraid I was underdressed but they didn't turn us away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The bread and flavored butters were enough for me to want to go back but the steak was out of this world--quite honestly, the best ribeye I've ever had. If you find yourself in Jamestown, this restaurant is definitely worth your time.”

“The Chop House on Main is very very nice. We like to go for special occasions. Tonight is New Year's Eve. The restaurant is beautiful. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and shown right to our table. Within minutes our server Jesse T came and went over the menu and specials with us. Took our drink order and said he'd be right back with bread and 3 butters. Yum there was raspberry, balsamic and house whipped. We both had Ceasar salad for a starter amazing, love the shaved parmesan. My husband picked prime rib. I couldn't decide between the fillet or Cajun Fillet medallions. Jesse suggested the Cajun medallions. I am glad I got them, cooked to a perfect med. great amount of spice. The shrimp were done and the pasta was cooked just how I like it with a creamy Cajun sauce. Just delicious. My husband loved his prime rib too. The service was great. Can't wait for our next visit. Wonderful restaurant”

“This place is absolutely terrible!!! Finally getting around to this review. Came here on Valentines Day and waited over an hour past our reservation time. Most places will offer you a drink for waiting they didnt seem to care at all and just made everyone pack in and stand around. People with reservations were even leaving. Our service was HORRIBLE, the waitress wasnt tentative at all and took forever to even wait on us and then the food took forever. We were there for FOUR hours. The side of mac n cheese was expensive and was literally noodles and milk. I dont understand why this place is considered upscale. Dined at an upscale restaurant in Miami few months the ago and it BLEW this place out of the park! Maybe the owners should go there an take notes? Anyways, I called few days after this happened and they said they were going to call me back and they never did. I called again and they said they needed my address to send a gift card. GUESS WHAT?! IT NEVER CAME! IMAGINE THAT?! Dont want to ever come back here anyways. Trust me you can make a better steak, meal, etc at home. Save your time and money. Much better local places to support in Jamestown/Lakewood anyways.”

“I wish I could provide a review on the great food this restaurant used to sell, and I would, had my reservation been honored and I was able to eat it. After showing up 5 minutes early for a 7:45 reservation, I stood until 8:25 (a 45 minute wait is for a walk in in Outback Steakhouse, not a reservation at an allegedly classy restaurant) going from 4th in line, to 6th in line, to 4th in line, before finally deciding I have better things to do than stand around watching the people who were moved ahead of my reservation sit with no food or drink. I’m rather embarrassed for the staff of the Chop House for their inability to run a restaurant. Due to a previous visit where my food tasted like it was taken from an all you can eat buffet, and my experience tonight, I will no longer be giving the Chop House my patronage.”
