Nestled in the renowned Willow Creek District AVA of Paso Robles, Creekcut is the dream of husband-and-wife team Jason and Chris Lamoreaux. Creekcut reflects their deep-rooted passion for wine, hospitality and building something lasting from the ground up. Our French-inspired wines, crafted with a distinct Paso Robles flair, are presented through a seated tasting in your choice of settings: the fun ambiance of our indoor lounge with its vinyl vibes, or the relaxed charm of our outdoor lounge. As music sets the mood, you’ll enjoy one of two curated flights featuring five Rhône-style wines that balance timeless elegance with modern character. Afterward, linger creekside beneath the shade of our heritage trees in the picnic grounds, where the experience invites you to slow down and savor the moment. Join us for a guided tasting experience and discover the wines, the story, and the soul of Creekcut.
“We visited with a group of five and had a fantastic tasting experience. Our tasting was led by their in-house sommelier, Stephanie, a Level 3 sommelier, who was extremely knowledgeable about wine and genuinely fun to chat with. Having tasted at several larger, more commercial wineries in Napa where the experience can feel rushed and transactional, this visit was the complete opposite. We never felt hurried and had plenty of time with both Stephanie and the owners, who came by to introduce themselves. We thoroughly enjoyed the wines, and loved the relaxed, hospitable atmosphere. It’s a spot I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for a more personal, thoughtful tasting experience in Paso Robles. We can’t wait to come back!”
“My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Jason (owners) and Steph (tasting room/wine club manager) at a winemaker's dinner last May. Over the course of the evening, we had a chance to get to know them a bit and hear the story of how Creekcut came about. We walked away that night feeling as though we had met kind, hardworking, non-pretentious, salt of the earth folks. Fast forward to October when we finally had the chance to return to Paso Robles again. High on the priority list was to visit the Creekcut Winery tasting room. I never had any expectation that we would be remembered, so I was shocked when Steph greeted us so warmly. (Chris and Jason were off-site working on post-harvest production.) We had a great time in the tasting room and Steph impressed us again with her in-depth wine knowledge in a very approachable way. If you are interested in supporting a small winery run by wonderful people, you really should check out Creekcut. If you just want to drink outstanding wines, you still should visit Creekcut. We are proud to be Creekcut wine club members now and can't wait to see how they continue to grow!”
“Creekcut Winery is an excellent stop for anyone exploring Paso Robles, especially those with a fondness for Rhône-style wines. The combination of exceptional, limited-production wines, a cozy and friendly atmosphere, and beautiful vineyard scenery makes it a can't-miss destination. I highly recommend booking a tasting in advance to ensure a spot at this exceptional tasting room. Owners are warm and welcoming and Steph is a wonderful host and very knowledgeable. The tasting room has a "relaxing, hip vibe" with a record player to spin some vinyl. Make sure you make this one of your stops when out wine tasting in Paso.”
“What a wonderful find! Steph and Chris were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and an absolute delight to spend time with. The wines were outstanding—solid Cabernet Sauvignon and truly impressive Rhône-style blends. The tasting room, nestled right in the vineyard, has a relaxing, hip vibe that makes for an unforgettable experience. It's such a treat to enjoy beautiful wines while surrounded by the vines. Creekcut wines now have a permanent spot in our cellar. We absolutely love this place!”
“CreekCut Winery gave us a great presentation of all the wines they were pouring for our group. All of their wines are fantastic. Our favorites are the 100% Grenache, 100%Syrah, and the GSM. Also another great surprise is the Luminary white wine.”
