“I first met the good folks at Alta Colina in 2010. I liked the wine, but probably more importantly, I enjoyed the people! When I first met them, the team was the Tillman Family - Bob, Maggie, and Lynn - in a tiny tasting room above Villicana Winery. I joined the wine club on that visit. We have been back for many visits since that initial visit in 2010 and we would be there more often if it weren't a six hour drive from home. The wines have always been good and are a good value for small production, artisanal wines. But the people of Alta Colina are what created the enduring connection. Favorite wines: Sun Worshipper, GSM, and Toasted Slope. Favorite experience: Tasting fabulous wines with friends on the Sundowner Deck at the top of the vineyard! We even have a vine from their vineyard on the wall of our house as decoration!”
