“We ALWAYS enjoy our meal at Cypress Hall. The menu is creative, inventive yet approachable. Don’t miss the creative dishes like I had today at brunch - Gnocchetti Granchio - so good with shrimp AND crab. The cocktails are fantastic with the Bloody Mary having a rimmer that was salty, citrusy and the olives - bleu cheese stuffed - so good! Don’t know what you want - sit at the bar and just tell the bar person what you like and don’t and there you have it, your perfect drink.”

“Had a great experience at Cypress in New Bern! As a vegetarian, it’s not always easy to find good options, but this place really delivered. The bruschetta was fresh and flavorful, and the salad was perfectly balanced and refreshing. The highlight, though, was the Bianco pizza — absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on, and the quality really stood out. Definitely a place I’d come back to for a satisfying vegetarian meal. Dena was very kind and friendly. “We celebrated my birthday at Cypress Hall, and it was easily one of my top dining experiences in years. The service was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. We started with the deviled eggs topped with Lusty Monk mustard, bacon, pork skins, and chives, absolutely incredible. The Sea Foam Margarita was so good, I ordered two… The salted foam that really set it apart from an ordinary margarita. My husband ordered the bourbon cocktail. It was another highlight. The drink was smooth, refined, and unlike anything he’d had before. For dinner, the standout was the Fruits de Mer. The caserecce pasta with crab roe, tuna pomodoro, shrimp, and clams was outstanding. I was oohing and aahing with every bite. It’s the kind of dish you’d expect from a top-tier coastal restaurant. We also had the stroganoff with cavatelli which was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. We finished with the banana creme brûlée and it was the perfect ending. Silky, rich, with a perfectly caramelized top. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. It feels upscale and polished, like something you’d find in a much larger city. I highly recommend for a special occasion or a memorable night out. We will absolutely be back.”

“Such an amazing experience! Dinner here on the upper level was the perfect evening. Service, food and atmosphere were all wonderful. Our server was so sweet and made great menu recommendations for us. We adored the food we ordered. The drinks were strong and unique. The desserts took our breath away and we ate them so fast we didn’t even get a picture.”

“Stopped in during the busy classic car show just because of a sign outside that said something about pumpkin pie cheesecake and was instantly transported into a serene and surprising atmosphere. Never got around to ordering the cheesecake and now have to come back. Our waitress Deena was extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful and considerate and really just had a way of making us feel so at home. The bread pudding was out of this world amazing. The pizza was delicious as well and everything is made from scratch, not too oily or greasy, so many fresh and vibrant flavors.”
