Unique in California Wine Country, this pastoral restaurant floats above the vines with panoramic views of Alexander Valley. Chef Douglas Keane’s distinctive Dining Journey is a progressive tasting menu designed to transport each guest through a series of spaces and experiences. An evening at Cyrus begins in the Bubbles Lounge where a glittering Champagne and Martini cart beckons. A welcoming treat appears from the kitchen as guests sip libations, free to sink into a leather lounge chair or wander the gardens and take in the vineyard views. The journey then moves to the Kitchen Table where diners engage with the chefs and observe as courses are prepared before them with the spectacle of the bustling kitchen beyond. The next leg of the journey brings each party to their table in the dining room with its sweeping views of Alexander Valley. A succession of beautifully plated courses finishing with dessert and sweet bites follows. The last stop of the evening’s tour leads to the mysterious Chocolate Room with a final surprise and a parting gift of house-made chocolate. “Cyrus was impressive. It was a surprise that you journey from room to room. Loved the surprise final room. I really enjoyed my birthday here. The food was exciting! And the service was impeccable. Great place for a birthday or anniversary.”
“4.5 stars We visited Cyrus in Geyserville in September 2025, and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip. The food was exceptional — beautifully executed dishes with thoughtful flavors — but what really stood out was how the entire experience unfolded. The transitions between rooms and the movement built into the meal kept us fully engaged, almost resetting our attention in a way that made each course feel fresh and intentional. Getting to chat with the chefs in the kitchen added a fun, personal touch. The absolute highlight, though, was the drink pairings. The wine pairings were excellent, but the non‑alcoholic pairings were truly next‑level. We had a great time talking with the sommelier (we believe his name was also Cyrus), and his creativity showed in every glass. These were some of the most inventive non‑alcoholic drinks we’ve ever had — thoughtful, complex, and perfectly matched to the food. The only part that didn’t quite land for us was the final dessert course. It wasn’t a bad dish, but it didn’t have the same impact as the rest of the menu, and we felt the experience might have ended more strongly without it. Overall, Cyrus delivers a unique, immersive, and beautifully crafted dining journey. The food, the pacing, the interaction with the team, and especially the drink pairings made it a standout meal.”
“My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary last night at Cyrus and wow!! 10/10 We’ve eaten at handful of Michelin starred restaurants before but Cyrus certainly stands out amongst them. Every single employee who interacted with us recognized it was our anniversary and said something kind. The bubbles lounge was a beautiful place to sit before dinner, the experience in the kitchen was SO fun we had never dined quite like that before. The food was obviously amazing, very tasty and creative. We certainly will be back soon.”
“Big fan of this Michelin Star restaurant when it was in Healdsburg so was anxious to try out the new location in Geyserville. No longer part of a hotel it now has it on beautiful spot in this cute town. Chef Douglas Keane and co-owner Nick Peyton accomplished something very special here.”
“Very warm cozy and elevated dining experience but the courses didn’t follow any theme. it was weird to be served chicken on a $1200 dinner which was not very elevated. you are greated in a room where they get you started on drinks and then move you through 2 more rooms. experience was elevated, most of the courses were fantastic but not all”
