Welcome to Failla Wines, founded by owner/winemaker Ehren Jordan and his passion for crafting expressive wines from single vineyard locations, which started across California's western Sonoma Coast. Reflective of his forward-thinking nature and desire to constantly challenge himself, we have rapidly expanded our portfolio from two wines in 1998 to over 30 wines two decades later. In 2001, we had the opportunity to source fruit from the renowned Goldschmidt Vineyard in Oregon. Although logistics posed a challenge, we managed to produce a single vintage from this exceptional vineyard. Several years and a few plane trips later, our love affair with the Pacific Northwest was reignited when we were offered Pinot grapes from the legendary Seven Springs Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills. Starting in 2016, we have fully embraced the Oregon wine scene with six single-vineyard Pinot Noir expressions from various AVAs within the Willamette Valley, including the unique addition of Gamay. In 2017, we expanded our lineup to include Chardonnay, Riesling, and Grüner Veltliner, showcasing the diversity and quality of the region's offerings. As a testament to our commitment to the Pacific Northwest, Ehren recently purchased a vineyard in Gaston, Oregon. This acquisition not only provides us with an exceptional vineyard but also offers space for our winery and an on-site tasting room. We eagerly look forward to welcoming you and showing you around during your next visit. At Failla Wines, we are dedicated to crafting wines that capture the essence of their vineyard origins. Join us on our journey as we continue to explore and express the terroir of California's Sonoma Coast and the Pacific Northwest's vibrant wine regions.
“Agree with reviewer Nick. A true gem! Kelly was a rockstar and did a two hour tasting answering everything thrown her way. Her dog is great too! Wines are superb and the side by side CA vs OR tasting is super cool. The Chenin is unique as well.”
“Failla is a true gem tucked into the hills above Gaston. We’ve loved this property since the Patton Valley days, and it’s been wonderful to see Failla breathe new life into it. The wines are excellent, the setting is beautiful, and the people make the experience unforgettable. Brian, the tasting room manager, is one of the kindest and most welcoming people you’ll meet. He has a way of making everyone feel like a neighbor, not just a guest. His thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality have made each of our visits memorable, and the entire team carries that same warm, relaxed energy. If you’re exploring the Willamette Valley, Failla is absolutely worth the stop. Incredible wines, a gorgeous setting, and staff who truly make you feel like part of the family. Highly recommend!”
