“We love coming to Farmer's Kitchen for brunch on Sundays! We have been coming pretty regularly for a few years. The pancakes are amazing. I love the egg and grain bowl breakfast. The food is fresh. You can make a reservation or many times get right in for brunch. Highly recommend.”
“My wife and I have been here numerous times and have had a five star experience every time. The food and service is perfect. The food is the exact right portions to feel very full, but the food is always well made and fresh. Menu changes slowly, but the sources of fresh ingredients makes it memorable. If you worry about price, the restaurant is sourcing from fair trade sources and paying farmers the correct amounts for their labor. Local farmers too. You can really taste that in every meal there. Please go, there’s nothing else this good in the cities for brunch.”
“We walked in, were greeted and sat almost immediately. The menu is small, so you already know they’re going to be really good at what they’re producing. They let me swap out the home fries for a fruit cup, which I appreciated. Sometimes fruit can be hit or miss but all of it was fresh and delicious. The seasonal jam was also really good, and it had a tart/sour taste. Services was great, vibe was great, and the food was great. A farmers market was going on next door, that we decided to hit up afterwards as well.”
“Liked this place, right by the Farmer's Market. Order at the counter and you sit at the bar or tables. Was lucky and it wasn't terribly busy, so got a table. Turkey sausage is good, not a lot of salt, which is what I prefer. The Mill City Breakfast Sandwich was the best thing on the menu. Decent Bloody Mary, needed a bit more spice, so ask for extra spicy. Enjoyed my meal.”
“Luckily we made an early enough reservation for a busy farmer's market Saturday or we would have been late to our Guthrie matinee. The service struggled, and despite our server's best efforts, seemed distracted and forgetful, as she was probably juggling many tables. Most disappointing was the painfully slow coffee bar service. I was eating my entree before I received my iced chai latte, the same goes for the company I was with. When you put espresso bar orders from seated guests into the same system that is also pumping out walk-in orders on a first come first serve basis, it throws off the enjoyment of the guests who are seated for an intentional meal. I put more effort into planning my visit to your establishment than you did providing me a good experience. I would highly suggest staffing additional swing servers, baristas, or utilizing a second espresso machine for days such as this so you don't negatively affect your guest experience. That being said, the scones and gravy with the roasted mushrooms was delicious. I will probably recreate it at home the next time I crave it.”
